I'm not a college student. I am a retired legal secretary, managing oil wells. This type of product, and the materials with which they are made, is kinda like comparing a louis vuitton to "pleather": The quality is great They are strong, they don't tear easily and the quality is just exceptional... I've been looking for spirals and notebooks that are sturdier than the "norm" and I finally found them in your products. Can you tell I'm liking your stuff? 😁 Thank you for your products. Utterly Despicable Company
Remove the QR codes, triangles, and assorted garbage from the pages. They clutter the work and distract the eye. At least announce clearly that these have the codes; I purchased them expecting the same notebooks I have used for 20 years. Instead I got geometry dash. Telling me with a straight face that you "do not carry any notebooks without QR codes" is just the height of idiocy. You have good customer service employees but this company is run by fools, clowns, and children. Hide your heads in shame, if you have enough integrity left to remember what shame is.

The notebook design for app usage sucks
I have adored Five Star notebooks for more than a decade & when I went to grad school went straight for them. The app integration with QR codes and triangles on every line is so distracting I can't use it. They thankfully haven't done this yet for smaller sized notebooks so I've stocked up on them before that horrid update makes its way in. Horrible design and lazy engineering (not that hard to design a fix readability of a page) that is incredibly intrusive to a formerly great product. I never write reviews and was searching to provide the product team feedback but this seems to be the only forum to do so. They have lost their North Star with the thoughtful product design they used to have and I am truly discouraged

Pocket is too small
I love a pocket in my notebooks but this one is too small. It barely holds 8 1/2 “ wide and is not 11”tall.. it also will not hold more than a few sheets in the pocket. By cutting corners they have lost me as a customer for this product.
