Terrible New Flavor
Me and my family have been buying Pace Restaurant Style for years as our go-to for any salsa needs. Now that they've changed it to a "new bolder flavor," no one has any reason to buy it. The once unique flavor has been replaced with a gross, generic one; I feel bad for the misguided soul that decided this change would be a good one. If you are looking to buy salsa, please look elsewhere. Just pick any other type on the shelf and it'll be better than this.

AVOID!!!! They changed the recipe and it is now... gross.
Wow. Yuck. I threw out a new bottle because I thought it had spoiled--it tasted nothing like my previous bottle. Opened a new bottle to find it had the same gross taste. A fake smoky, chipotle grossness. Prior to this new "bolder" flavor, I was consuming a couple bottles a week. Now... I'll never buy it again. Way to go, Pace. You ruined a good thing.

HATE new recipe
The new recipe is horrible. “Bolder” flavor means whole new flavor and nothing like the salsa I loved. Terrible smoked chipotle-like taste. The mild is now also a little spicy. Which I DONT want hence why I buy mild. Of course I restocked without knowing this and now I’m stuck with 2 jars of salsa I’m not gonna eat. Never buying again

Changed recipe sucks
The only salsa I truly loved that tasted like what you get at a Mexican restaurant. Now they’ve changed the recipe to include cumin to be “bolder”, like every other brand. So extremely annoying!! Will no longer buy.

I have recently been choosing this over old El Paso! I like the texture better. There are chunks but it isn’t as thick. The taste is great. Easy to use packaging as well.

This salsa is such a classic type of salsa, it’s not hot at all and has good flavor. I prefer more fresh salsas but this is always easy to just grab at the store if I’m in a pinch. I’d recommend but almost everyone has had this before.

We usually go with
We usually go with a different brand simply because these salsa lack sustenance, or structure. I prefer a salsa that has more food than water. Pace is made with pretty much just water if you read the ingredients (it's obvious just by looking at it too). Ingredients in order are CRUSHED TOMATOES - WHICH IS JUST (WATER, CRUSHED TOMATO CONCENTRATE), annnd more WATER etc. They are also not naturally non-GMO. Pace® Chunky Salsa Medium, 16 oz. With Green Mountain Gringo the first 3 ingredients are: Ripe Tomatoes, Onions, Tomatillos. Not water, concentrate, water. And, green mountain gringo is non-GMO certified and also offers time of flavored real salsa.

This is the salsa I grew up with, and one I have really left in the past. While the price point is a lot more budget friendly, I would rather spend the same amount and make fresh salsa. While it takes the convenience out, the flavor is just not on track enough for me to want to purchase.
