This was good while it lasted. I bought this a little over two years ago when I moved into a new apartment. I ate out of it for over two years straight—kept dishcleaning duty away. Today, I finally had to put it out due to the nonstick coating coming off in splotches. My findings: 1. The pot doesn’t distribute heat evenly. The stuff in the center would dry out and burn earlier. 2. The small glass-metal interface has a very small clearance—good enough for someone with long nails to dig dirt out of, but it’s got a tendency to hold onto grime and other stuff that’s hard to clean out. 3. After a year, the handle became slightly loose. 4. After a year and a half, the very center of the pan lost its nonstick properties. I’m guessing that part being consistently hotter during cooking had something to do with it.

The pan is fine; Target delivered the wrong size pan
I didn't notice I received a 2.5 qt pan until past the return window. The pan is fine but I wanted the larger size. I'm giving a 1 star for value since a 2.5 pan cost than a 3 qt pan.

I’ve had two of these and both of them had the handle become extremely loose after about one year of light to moderate use. It is getting dangerous to use so I will have to discard the pot.

Great pot
I bought two of these pots two years ago, to replace old pots. I use these most every day, and they still look like new. I do wash them by hand, but that is my preference. The strainer lid is a nice feature whether for straining pasta, or draining meat. They heat up quickly, which is a bonus when trying to boil water. Overall, I'm very pleased with these pots.

Cheaply Made Aluminum Sauce Pan
This saucepan is cheaply made. The handle always comes loose because the screw that holds it is always coming out. Since the outer pot is made from aluminum, this saucepan will warp after everyday use. I purchased this in January 2025 and it didn't even last a year! Based on my user experience, I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Do not have it delivered by Target.
The reason for the 2 star rating is because of delivery. They didn’t attempt to bring it up to my apartment whatsoever. I injured my ankle so that is why I ordered delivery for this product. I’ll never order local anymore! The sauce pan is great. I like T-Fals products.

Very good pan
I replaced a similar 18 yr. old 2 qt tfal for this 3 qt pan. I abused the pan, cooked on high often and boiled over a few times but it still was pretty slick, tho' the bottom had chips and began to brown (rust?). This new one is better, I like the pour spouts and hole on lid. I will treat this one better, no high heat, and won't use the nonscratch nylon pads. Tfal will wear out faster if you use high heat, as I did for yogurt in my 12 quart tfal pot. Then you eat plastic. Better sauce pans cost at least double.
