Q: It states that the top consists of 4 leather pieces stitched together. Are the sides leather too?

  • A: The sides are the same material as the top. Note that their description in "highlights" says it's bi-cast leather. So it's a leather by-product. It does look decent though.

Love them. "Leather" is maybe a stretch, but still, from a distance can't really tell difference between the ottoman and our high quality leather sofa. Perfect for a footrest, and easy enough to pick up and move around, can easily store two under a sofa table when not in use. Hinge is good quality for storage under the lid. Very happy with this purchase.
