I haven't tried this yet. I purchased this because the glue gun I had purchased before, and had replaced once, was terrible. The second glue gun that was sent did not work either. Hopefully this glue gun will work, if not I will return it!

Does not include any glue sticks. If you search the internet for the sticks that are recommended on the box, they don’t exist

Hi! Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Elmer's Craft Bond Mini Glue Gun. We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with the glue gun not heating well and having to press the glue stick further down for the glue to come out. Here are a few tips that might help improve the performance: - Ensure that the glue gun is properly plugged in and receiving power. Sometimes, a loose connection can affect the heating element. - Make sure to give the glue gun enough time to heat up before using it. This can take a few minutes. - Ensure that the glue stick is inserted correctly and fully into the glue gun. - Sometimes, the nozzle can get clogged, which can affect the flow of the glue. Cleaning it might help improve the performance. If these steps don't resolve the issue, please feel free to reach out to us directly via Contact Us form on our website for further assistance. Skip This Hot Glue Gun
The mechanism that is supposed to push the glue stick through didn’t work— I had to manually push the glue stick to get any to come out. I also confirmed I was using the correct size glue sticks. Very frustrating.

Save your miney and get a glue gun that comes with glue
Who sells a glue gun with no glue sticks! NOT EVEN ONE! Seriously, absurd. I opened the package to start a project only to find no glue sticks were included. At least put it in the totals so customers know to order glue when ordering the gun. Very surprised especially for a name brand product.

Why did it take me so long to upgrade?
I finally upgraded my hot glue gun from a local craft store one and all I have to say is I regret not doing it sooner! The fact that I can change the levels of heat is a big plus, it also warms fast and doesn’t smell burnt, which I love would definitely recommend to anyone in need of a glue gun for any sort of crafts or project. I specifically bought it to get started on my boys valentines box.

Good Value
For the price point, this is a solid glue gun for basic projects. Heats fast, the nozel is well shaped, and the plastic stand is surprisingly sturdy. It does go through a mini stick very quickly and it requires a few seconds of heating in between each squeeze of glue- which is fine, but sort of annoying if on a roll. Probably not the best option for avid crafters tackling high volume projects, but, perfect option for someone like me who pulls out the glue gun a few times a year.

Great for small projects
Was hesitant to buy because I could see that it received mixed reviews but I think it’s perfect for our purposes. I Purchased to do small crafts with my five-year-old son. It works well and fast. It’s small and does not take up much room. I have no have had no issues with the clogging. If you are not looking for it to do large projects, this is a good fit for you.

Small and powerful
This glue gun works well and heats up pretty fast. Sometimes the little stand kicks back and the glue gun doesn’t stay upright if you quickly put it down, so you need to be a bit gentle with it. Otherwise it works fine. Get lots of spare glue since sticks go fast!

Started off great but after inserting the 3rd Elmers glue stick for a big project, they began to get stuck and had to force them in. also the little pink Stand fell off and wasn’t sturdy so I had to lay the gun on it’s side.

Stuck on Elmer's
Metls glue well, extrudes glue just fine. Dribbles just a smidgen if I get distracted, hardly a crisis
