Q: How much space is between the shelf on the bottom and the top of the table and if I were to store anything on the shelf how much weight can it hold?

A: There is 12 inches between the crossed bars and the bottom of the top. Unfortunately we do not test for weight capacity.

Love the table; hate the longevity. Haven’t made it 2 months before it rusted over. Now I read all of the reviews but thought I’d be safe since it was for a covered patio. No such luck! I am going to take a steel brush to it soon, then spray paint Rustoleum paint over to see if I can restore. It is a lovely design & size.

The two black iron side tables added needed surfaces on our small balcony in exactly the (very difficult to find) dimensions available - we couldn't be more pleased ! Easy to put together, sturdy and quite attractive as well.

We have the larger version of this table. It’s not a quality that lasts outdoor. This table rusted about halfway through the season and and bled rust all over our outdoor carpet, permanently staining it. Would not buy again.

These are weight than expected, but they seem sturdy enough. A good price for some solid and easy to assemble patio furniture to coordinate with the pieces I already have. We have a small patio so I had to be careful about the size and these were just right. After reading a number of reviews mentioning the tables tend to rust, I spray painted them black immediately after assembly to give them more protection. Also, these have a matching coffee table and it’s really hard to find a set with matching coffee and end tables.

I really liked the design. It was sturdy, but lightweight. I have had it for a year and it is already rusting. For the price I paid, I am pretty upset. I missed the time to return it so I will keep on using it and look for a new one from another company next year.

This table is unfortunately not truly black. So if that's what you are looking for best to avoid. It's a charcoal grey with some "aged" rubbed spots that are a lighter silver. Otherwise seems good for the price. Not sure I will keep it yet.
