    Expired and hard

    Took me 10 minutes to get the frosting out of the tip since it was super hard at the bottom. Only to find it’s expired by 2 years! Target won’t even let me return it!! Unfortunately I bought 2 and some of it already got on the cake I’m making.

    Makes icing easy

    Loved the convenience of this but I have to agree w some previous reviews regarding flavor. Although mine didn’t taste like mayo or too artificial it’s definitely a little “off” but still sweet.

    Convenient but poor taste

    I enjoy how convenient it is to ice cupcakes. I had bought the chocolate one before and it tasted great but the vanilla one has a really terrible artificial taste. I don’t recommend this flavor and would not buy again.

    DAIRY FREE!!!

    I love making cupcakes with my toddler but hate making frosting. I was very surprised to see that this was DAIRY FREE! We have a dairy allergy in our house so we are also cautious. They should add that to their label.

    Will probably break on you

    So when I took it out of the box I let it sit on the counter and tried to soften it a little and a hole emerged after just pressing on it with my fingers. I thought that was it and didn’t push hard enough for lots to come out so I taped it up and started my piping. After icing 4 cupcakes another hole emerged so I tried to hold it so it wouldn’t burst and by the time I squeezed again a new whole emerged and just had a huge blow out. Ended up squeezing the rest out on to the other cupcakes and had to frost them with a knife. I used the white icing btw.

    Easy and convenient

    At the last minute my daughter realized she had forgotten to get cupcakes for the bachelorette party she was hosting, so I ran to Target to get Pillsbury white (for wedding) cupcake mix and this frosting. Normally I would make homemade frosting (it’s not hard, people, and it tastes better) but I was out of time so bought this. Super easy to use, the tip comes already attached and all you do is remove the plastic cover that covers the tip. Target also had these beautiful sugars so I grabbed a pink bottle and a pearl one. One tip: sugar your cupcakes as soon as you have iced them. The sugar will attach much easier to the frosting than if you let the iced cupcakes set first. Pillsbury could make this frosting taste a little better but Im going with five stars since this set saved us in an emergency. One frosting bag iced 17 cupcakes so I was glad I bought two.
