[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Ella + Mila polishes! They are, by far, my favorite. All of their polishes I’ve used have been long lasting, except for this one. I love the vibrant pink, and it starts out just like all the other polishes; however, after about a week, the color fades to a light bubble gum pink. And it doesn’t hold up at the beach at all! After one day on the beach, the sand and saltwater caused it to fade to a pale pink within a short amount of time. It still holds up in other aspects, meaning doesn’t chip. But the color doesn’t stay bright and vibrant. I’ve never had a polish fade like that, especially that quickly. And yes, I did have a top coat on. Still a great polish; just know the color doesn’t last.

Until this dulce Amor was used for the first time last week I was so happy the the polishes in my collection. But, this new color of polish has not turned out to last even a few days before it began to lift and peel. Has the formula changed or what? I will try doing my nails again with this to see how long it holds up.

Love this red. It isn't too dark or bright but just the right shade to be fun. It went on thick and easy. My photo shows it with base coat, 2 coats red, and top coat.

I needed 3 coats to cover, which is time consuming, but once I got it on, I enjoyed it. Not sure that I would buy it again though.

I tried to get the color as shown in the photo, but after several coats, it was still rather translucent in spots. I could not get a nice smooth look with this color. I am by no means a manicurist, but other colors from Ella & Mika worked beautifully.
