Description
Lightweight and portable, the SKLZ Lighting Bolt Pro Automatic Pitching Machine is the perfect training tool to help players improve contact at the plate. The pitching machine automatically pitches 26 soft practice balls at 30 mph every 5 seconds. Designed to be adjustable, the training aid can be positioned at different pitching locations to build hand-eye coordination. Through focusing on soft micro balls, batters will be forced to work on the visual processing, concentration, and hand-eye coordination that makes hitters great. The training aid holds up to 26 balls at a time and includes 12 Bolt Balls. The Lighting Bolt Pro is powered by an AC adaptor or 6 C batteries (batteries not included). By adding a Quick Stick bat, ballplayers of all levels will be challenged even more.

A: The SKLZ lightning bolt pro was designed to work specifically with the bolt balls to improve accuracy. another baseballs would not work with the product.

Second machine.
I originally bought one 6 or so yrs ago and loved it but then it stopped working. But was well used and we loved it, so had no complaints. Bought a second one years later and got only about 30-45 min out of it over a the year. One side just burnt out and now no good. still like new.

Delayed by seller & carrier :(
Delaying delivery! I purchased this item on Friday! It went in “ preparing for delivery “ phase until Tuesday! Originally it supposed to be delivered on Monday! Every day pushed the delivery date a day later! I live in the west coast! The shipping is coming from NC ! I wonder,Couldn’t be shipped from somewhere closer .

Son only used two times, with the power cord and it stopped working. This is the second item of this brand that has gone to crap. Don’t spend the money.

Portable and great for weekends

Great in theory
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this with my 8 year old son. Started off strong, and was pleasantly surprised. After re-feeding it, pitches were inconsistent. Sometimes they were at least around the strike zone, other times hit the ground, and sometimes wildly high. It’s a crapshoot on where the ball will go. This increased frustration for everyone! Including the 8 year old who has the attention span of a fly.

Batting practice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The overall product quality is great! Personally I think it would have been better if it shot bigger denser balls, but it performs well. My kids on the ball team struggled with it though because of the ball size and material being a type of foamy material.

Great practice tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great tool for hand eye coordination. I coupled it with the skilz overload strength trainer and I could not be happier. My 2 teenage sons and I all use it and it has really helped with their batting this year. My 7 yr old really wants to use it but they come in way to fast for him at this point. The balls are quite small which coupled with the thin bat makes for a great hand eye coordination trainer.

Perfect practice

Perfect for hand eye coordination

I was a little worried this would be a little kiddy for her but no, it pitches a little over 30 mph and the balls are smaller to it helps her keep her eye on the ball. It was super simple to set up. This turned out to be a really awesome product!

He’s at that age where the sport stuff for kids is too small for him but some of the adult stuff is too advanced or too big but this was perfect for him. The ball comes out at a nice velocity, but not overly fast or hard. It’s fun to play with and is now part of our training regiment! I highly recommend!

Handy for practice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great too to add to the arsenal for batters. I like that it has the option to be plugged in (easy he me use) or battery operated (great for the field). The smaller ball size helps make it more challenging for our kids to hit. It's not super fast but works well for what we need.
