If you've only seen this movie on standard Blu-Ray or DVD

You haven't seen The little mermaid. I bought this not realizing they'd completely restored the movie. As a child it was a favorite growing up. The colors then were very good for the time. But if you watch the opening scene where the water appears dark and grey in the 4k version it's bluer. I'm very impressed with the new restoration. It's like getting to watch the movie in my home in theater quality picture and sound. We are looking forward to more movie nights with more Disney classic 4k movies.
