They are constructed of five ply cotton, making them thick enough to protect your table from spills and burns. Each placemat measures 13 x 19 inch and will fit most tables. You will also find the coordinating oversized napkins to complete your dining set. Awful smell! Also thinner snd shorter than described. I think they counted long fringe on sides to create measurements.
