I love this brush. In the last year I’ve had cancer. my hair was falling out by the handful, radiation made it brittle and constantly matted no matter what products I used. I couldn’t hairdryer on high settings on cold and to be honest I came close to shaving it all off. This hairbrush is a game changer, the double type bristles go through my hair even when matted, it doesn’t hurt or pull the hair so I’m not losing as much and it’s made me feel better about my earlier losses. Longhair is not easy to manage so this has been a great find. Thank you

I have very thick hair and this really manages the frizz

I'm really impressed with the ergonomics of this brush. The handle has a great grip, which makes it much easier to manage thick hair without your hand getting tired. It glides through tangles smoothly and the size of the paddle covers a lot of ground quickly. It feels sturdy and well made, not like those cheap plastic brushes that snap easily. Definitely a must-have for daily grooming.

I’ve been using this paddle brush for a few weeks, and overall I do like how it works on my hair. It detangles my thick hair without pulling too much, and it feels comfortable to hold. It also helps smooth out frizz and makes my hair look shinier. However, it’s not perfect — sometimes the bristles don’t glide through very thick or very knotty areas as easily as I hoped. Still, for the price and daily use, it’s a solid brush that I reach for most days

My daughters love that it smooths and detangles fast and with way less discomfort. They won’t even touch the wet brush anymore.

Would give zero stars if I could. No "natural boar bristles" they are cheap nylon. Change the description so people ordering online don't get something they don't want!!

Packaging is simple but secure. Brush is very effective. It’s OK for the money. We’re still working out the durability because it’s still new to us at the moment not yet decided how long it’s going to last still fairly new to us.

This brush is perfect for my long thick wavy hair! It detangles so effortlessly. It smooths any frizz! It feels comfortable to hold and lightweight.

I have super thick, hi po, very dense/coarse curly hair that I’m letting go gray. Denman brushes DO NOT get through my hair and are a disaster. Right now my hair is in desperate need of a cut, but I thought I’d try out brush styling with this brush that I picked up on a whim. I’ve been super tempted to get the viral curl brush out right now, but I’ve heard that they really pull on the hair (high tension) which can lead to hair loss. I have more than enough hair BUT I lose A LOT on a regular basis bc of finger coiling, so I have tons of baby hairs that drive me crazy. The viral brush is also expensive. I wanted a brush that had combo bristles but would be gentler than the viral brush and that’s also paddle shaped. This Cantu brush is a great price, so it fit the bill. This pic is the results after my first attempt ever at brush styling. It wasn’t as easy I thought it would be, but with time I’ll get the hang of it. Bc this brush is gentle, you do have to use your free hand to help add tension. I lost about 1/4 the amount of hair I usually lose—maybe even less! It is SO gentle and works through the hair smoothly and effortlessly, something I’ve never been able to find in a brush before bc my hair is SO dense. I was shocked how easily it glided through my hair. Exactly what I wanted. The results in this pic are also after pixie diffusing. I think with the right product (I just used whatever I had lying around) and a good haircut, the results will be even more amazing. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is bc it’s just a little bit too big. I wish it were closer to the size of the viral brush, but that’s my only complaint. I love the light weight of it, the hand feel, and even the color! Very pleased and can’t wait to keep experimenting!

I absolutely love the Cantu brush! It glides through my curls without pulling or breaking my hair. It makes detangling so much easier and leaves my hair smooth and defined.

I love this brush. I am mostly white with super thick hair that I usually wear straight. It detangles and smooths! I love it so much that I bought two, one for home and one for work!

I was willing to deal with the glue and the loss of a bristle on the first day. But this brush literally slices off hair. The bonded plastic knobs start to detach at the root, catching your hair under it and slicing it off like a razor. I demonstrated this concept with a simple thread. THE BRUSH IS HANGING BY THE THREAD. Now imagine your hair, which is 20-70 times finer. I'm a black man with long wavy hair. I can lose a bit but imagine if you were already thinning...

My kid is growing out their hair but is so tender headed and HATES to brush it. We tried multiple deranging brushes and soft bristles, but this is the best. Less pain and their hair stays smooth longer.

I found the bristles too short and too dense to go through my thick hair. The brush is hard to keep clean because the boar bristles collect hair gel or leave-in condition.

I loved the double bristle design also, which I feel prob contributes to the smoothing part. But nonetheless i would totally recommend. 😊
