If Cantu had only written Coconut Scent on the bottle, I wouldn't have bought it. It's not just part of the scent, it's *straight-up coconut*. Now I love coconut pudding, etc. but I hate the smell on my hair or body & don't want that anymore than I'd like chocolate or banana radiating off me.

First target review ever…thought I should warn others. Don’t waste your money this is by far the WORST shampoo and conditioner EVER. It’s drying and knots your hair. UGH if I could give it a Zero… i would

Cheap price but this shampoo dried out my scalp and now I’m getting sores on my scalp as well. I am suffering. Won’t be using this again.

This is my favorite shampoo. It arrived with a plastic bag tied around it which was a good thing because about a third of it leaked out of the container. I knocked stars off for value since i had to scrape shampoo out of the bag and add it back to the container but wasn't able to get all of it.

Loved this and the conditioner at first. However, i noticed i was getting an itchy scalp, sores on my scalp, and i was losing soo soo much hair. I thought it was postpartum hairloss but it wasnt (coming up on 1 year postpartum). This has caused me to loose half of my hair weight. I dont know what ingredient is doing that but i will never use this again! This also gave me bad dandruff and i have never suffered from dandruff before in my life. Horrible. This does not lather well at all. I had to use so much product to even get a lather. My hair would always be a stiff knotty mess.

This shampoo leaves my hair nice and soft. I have wavy hair and at times it can get rather unruly. But this I find helps to tame the frizz. And it smells great. I purchased the pump bottle, and trying to get it to work at first was a chore, but I got it going.

i used this on my 11 year olds straightned 3b hair , after straightening hwr hair is always dry she also hadent washed it so it was a big greasy bit this solved that .we having been trying new products and we also used the cantu curl activating cream ,conditioner,leave in and pre oil . this will definitely be one of our wash and gos rountine because of the smell,slip,hydration,softening and frizz taken away.

The only con that I experienced with using this product was that that it left my hair a little bit dry. I did follow up with the Cantu Sulfate-free conditioner and my loca felt better after.
