Not a full 256 GB

Be sure you take into account that you do not get the full 256 GB of storage because some is reserved for the “system” which is ridiculous to me but yeah.

garbage write speed

only getting 5-10MB/s sustained write. Absolutely garbage. MicroSD card in the same usb port copying the same files is over 10x faster. Target shouldn't put this on their shelf.

CHEAP DO NOT BUY!!!!!!

DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!! This product will temporarily work. once you upload all of your important files, the device will randomly stop working and you will loose all of your precious memories and important documents. The tech support line is not helpful at all either. If i could give this company "Memorex" zero stars, i absolutely would!
