Not for outdoor use?
Disappointed to learn AFTER receipt that it was not outdoor weather ready. I thought I had bought the same thing from M-P years ago for my roof antenna, and it served well, but after decades I wanted to replace it with extra shielded cable. Monoprice is where I turn first. I saw no clear indication on the description that it was not for outdoor use. Looks like conventional RG-6 outdoor-antenna coax, but is either not UV-stabilized or not waterproof. I should have studied the comments section more carefully --- two people wrote the same. Too bad this hasn't been corrected in the listing.

Nice Cable ! Does the trick
Had problems with a couple channels on one particular tv. After switching cable boxes, same problem.. Took a chance it was the cable so replaced old with Monoprice's 50ft RG6 (18AWG) 75Ohm, Quad Shield, CL2 Coaxial Cable and now all is clear, crystal clear :-)

Cheap
I tried to pull this up through my wall and the crawlspace to a distribution box, using an old cable that was already there and the passthrough connector from the wall plate to hold them together. Tension from the weight and pulling on it tore off the connector, and I wasn't putting a lot of force on it. From a factory crimp, I expect more. Two stars because the price is pretty good, despite all that.

A 50 ft. cable replaced the older cable to my antenna, and I replaced the antenna as well. The combination improved the signal strength about 7 db over an amplified arrangement. The new cable tightens easily and makes sure, tight connections. It is a big improvement over the older cable that came with an antenna.
