It didn't work with Samsung TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately this amazingly designed remote didn't work with our Samsung TV and the Pioneer stereo system. I wish it did because our current one is getting pretty worn out. I couldn't really check the battery life as we couldn't use it long enough to see if it lasts.

Thank you for your feedback. Samsung is the most popular brand in the US. Now, the pre-programmed may not have worked, but there should be code that works for Samsung and Pioneer. We would love to have the opportunity to work with you directly and help walk you through the troubleshooting steps for this product, so you can enjoy our products to their full potential. At your earliest convenience, please give us a call at 1-800-654-8483.

Convenient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Philips Elite Universal Remote is a solid option if you want to streamline your entertainment setup. It controls up to 4 devices and comes preprogrammed for Samsung TVs, so setup should be quick if you have one. Overall, it’s convenient and user-friendly, especially if you hate juggling multiple remotes. The only limitation is that it supports 4 devices max, so if you have more gear, you might need something higher-end.

Worked on my SamsungTV right out of the box! No co
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a new TV remote so I was excited to try this. It worked for our Samsung TV right out of the box! I love the charging capabilities, so no changing batteries, I didn't even initially need to charge it the battery lasts forever. The backlight is extremely handy, easy interface with multiple device usage with a sleek lightweight design.

It's good enough. But power users will notice some
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So there's a lot to like about this universal remote, from someone who 1) was in the market for another because they 2) own and have owned several throughout the years, from various companies, either varying results. First off, being preprogrammed to Roku set-tops is a very nice bonus. I'll be using this in the bedroom, where my Roku Ultra is. Being backlit is also a plus. USB-C rechargeable? BIG plus. My gripes, albeit limited, are still emblematic of the more common issues with all remotes, not just those that are universal: - The remote doesn't have the RGBY buttons that are found in most TV/Blu-ray remotes; while not being common buttons, they do, in niche situations, offer functionality that often can't be supplanted by the options given on a universal. - Seeing a remote with preprogrammed streaming services is ALWAYS a pain, because most people are missing at least one of the 4 services that paid the manufacturer for that prime location. I'd rather have buttons I CAN program for shortcuts. Call me a power user, I guess. - One of the things that my old Harmony 700 could do is have "scenes", to let me decide, for instance, if I want the menu button to always open the TV menu, as opposed to the menu for the respective set-top box I'm using. I've already had instances where I've used the preprogrammed streaming service buttons while the remote was set for my TV, rather than my Roku or Blu-Ray; instead of opening up the YouTube app on my Roku, it opened up the LG TV's YouTube app. My Blu-Ray player also has smart TV apps, so it's only a matter of time before I make that mistake, as well. Not a huge issue, but one that makes me roll my eyes and, for just a second, want to launch the universal remote out my window. And those three issues aren't going to detract from my experience very often. But those of us who know what universal remotes are capable of know these limitations all too well. Overall, I'm happy to have this. It is helpful, convenient, and would make an average consumer pretty happy.

No More Wasted Batteries!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE being able to have all of our favorite streaming apps available at one click of a button. Not only can we just click into what we want to watch, but if it's dark, the buttons glow so there's no accidental clicks and backtracking. Don't even get me started on the size. Our last remote was so small, it got misplaced all the time. This remote isn't huge, but it's big enough that it's easy to spot and less likely to get stuffed in the cushions. The re arguable feature is also awesome! No more emergency battery runs and pilfering from the kids' toys to watch a movie!

But overall, it actually connected the combatibility was well, the design is good. I like the battery life, and I love the fact that it's rechargeable, so no more batteries.

Not for fire stick
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works good. This says it’s a Phillips remote control but because it’s universal it works on our Panasonic as well. The only thing every one needs to be aware of is this will control your tvs volume, input … the basic features but it will not control anything if u use a fire stick or other streaming service (this is if it is separate of course )

Connected in seconds!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To say I'm ecstatic is an understatement! I've been trying to find a remote that works for my TV AND my connected Roku box. I've tried many that were supposed to and it just wouldn't connect to both. One round of codes for each product and it's working like a dream! It was so easy to follow the instructions. Took 30 seconds for each product. I love that it is a rechargeable remote! No batteries needed! And it came pre-charged and with a charger as well! The design is great. Very easy to hold and maneuver. Everything I want to connect to is there. I took it to my other rooms and programmed to them just as a backup in case a remote gets lost! Love this product and this brand!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Philips Universal Remote is super easy to set up and works perfectly with my TV and soundbar. The instructions were clear, the buttons are responsive, and it feels solid in hand. It replaced three remotes and made everything simpler. Great value for the price!

Basic remote rechargeable and universal.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This worked out well! We always have issues with our remote. This one has been helpful especially with the rechargeable batteries. Easy set up and able to work universally. The design is the standard basic remote. Seems durable and a basic tv remote. Simple.
