Introducing Stage Right by Monoprice STARQUAD XLR Microphone Cables. These are Pro-Grade, balanced microphone cables, commonly used to carry low-level signals. Microphones produce very low level signal feeds, which are easily susceptible to magnetic interference. Microphone outputs must be amplified and when a microphone feed is amplified, any interference will also be amplified. Stage Right STARQUAD XLR Microphone Cables' four cores are very tightly twisted with each other and rotate over a relatively short length, very similar to what is found in an Ethernet cable. This arrangement results in a greatly improved rejection of electromagnetic interference, compared to standard two-core balanced mic cables. Well made. Quality wire material.

Cable seems to be made very well. Good material in the wire. Time will tell how durable it is, though it looks like it?s in it for the long haul. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the unlatching button is a little hard to work. Some other XLR connectors have a little more grip than these.
