Description

Monoprice Cat6A fixed length network cables are the perfect combination of value and performance. Each cable is made of 24AWG stranded pure bare copper conductor pairs with 50m gold plated contacts (short body). Most budget cables skimp with only 10m. Each cable features snagless strain relief boots. This cable is a Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) type, which provides an extra level of protection against EMI and RFI interference.

Monoprice Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A cables are made of 100 Percent pure bare copper wire, as opposed to copper clad aluminum (CCA) wire, and are therefore fully compliant with UL Code 444 and National Electrical Code TIA-568-C.2 fire and safety standards, which require pure bare copper wire in Cat5e and Cat6 communications cables.

Great product, fast shipping

Great product! I ran 2x 75ft cables from my basement "IT closet", through the attic, to my office upstairs. No loss in signal, speeds weren't effected in anyway.

Very good - a boot would make them perfect

We are bundling 5 of these to connect HDBaseT (Crestron DM) equipment, installed in a movable teaching table, to the infrastructure (Floorbox). While they are not HDBaseT certified (no stranded cables are), they work really well. The quality of these cables seems comparable to that of a similar cable made by Comprehensive and sold for nearly 3 times the money. The only thing they lack is a protective boot, to keep the tab from hyper-flexing. Makes dealing with them a little bit more finicky. At least they aren't in an application that requires a lot of handling after they are installed...
