Very good product. The articulation works as advertised and I enjoy the features of this product as a wall mountable device. A better locking lug design for the pivotal attachment device that attaches the back of the monitor's to the spring loaded arm is needed. The amount of torque pressure needed to lockin the desired monitor position at the locking lug was very difficult to manage.

Very sturdy and works well. For the price it can't be beat.

Used two of these arms for wall mounted monitors in a home office setup. Worked great with smaller 24" monitors but a recent upgrade to 28" monitors revealed problems maintaining vertical tilt. These monitors were well within the weight specifications for these arms and the gas shocks had no problems holding them up, but the vertical tilt adjustments couldn't keep the monitors level. Unfortunately attempts to tighten the vertical tilt to hold the monitor resulted in the vertical tilt clamp breaking, rendering the arm useless. Will be looking elsewhere for monitor arms.

This is great. I mounted it to my workbench so that I can keep the work area clear while still being able to pull up digital references on my raspberry pi (YouTube, pdfs, internet tutorials). After adjusting the piston, I can move the monitor with ease. I recommend for those that want a semi permanent monitor mount.

Quick and simple installation, with only some minor fiddling to get the tension right for the gas spring.

Easily installed. The movement is quite as fluid as I had hoped but it works for my purposes.

For the price, this mount is ok - though it's definitely not a great mount. It does hold up our monitor, but only barely so after tightening the shock all the way. The monitor we have on it is an ASUS VS248, 24" monitor (9 lbs). As I write this, I'm adjusting the monitor on the mount, and in some positions it sags as soon as I release it. I can get it to stay with some patience, but it's frustrating. It functions on a level just good enough to keep me from replacing it. I don't see this mount ever holding up 15 lbs. No way.

The vertical tilt mechanism is very weak, and cannot support my lightweight monitor (about 5 lbs) unless I have it tilted slightly upwards. That's fine when I am standing, but makes it hard to use when I am sitting down. If I want it to be tilted down a hair, or even strait up and down, I have to prop it on something to get it stay at the right angle. There is a hex bolt on the side that could maybe tighten it so it supports lower angles better, but the bolt is stripped (and came that way) so I can't tighten it at all. The rest of the arm is very sturdy and flexes well, so maybe this one is just an aberration.

Work perfectly and it’s sturdy and hold the monitor it whatever position you want it. Only problem I had was I could not get the arm to stay down no matter what but luckily for me I didn’t need the arm to fold downward so it wasn’t a problem for me but just make sure it works if needed

Simply fabulous. Super easy to install (excellent instructions). I love the 2-Segment version and am glad I paid the extra to get this over the 1-Segment. Allows for more versatility on the way I mounted it on the wall. Excellent value (and continues to keep my utmost satisfaction with Monoprice for selling quality and affordable products.

The mount is very well made and easily adjustable. It only took a few moments to get it balanced to the weight of my monitor.

Works great for my upper email monitor. Its a 24" dell. No Problems easy install. I would reccomend.

I ordered 3 of these mounts for a 27" monitor. Two of them work fine, the gas shock only needed to be adjusted to mid range. Third one would not hold the wait of the monitor with gas shock adjusted to maximum. Returned the third mount and now waiting for replacement.

Have vertical adjustment screw at max for light LED monitor. Will not stay in vertical position when lowering monitor.. Horizontal adjustment is satisfactory but when using LED monitors. Vertical adjustment is unsatisfactory due to insufficient weight. Will not stay in place.

This mount is exactly what I expected. After the proper adjustments, the stand holds the monitor exactly where I want it and can be moved without any hassle. Would recommend.

I have 2 Dell 25 in monitors in my office. I bought 2 of these (36082) wall mounts and they were just what I wanted. I had another wall mount before but it had no height adjustments. These new mounts also allowed me to push the monitors back closer to the wall. Installation was very easy and the adjustments are great. I have each monitor mounted to its own stud which were 22" apart, But with the adjustments of the mounts, it was easy to line them the monitors up right next to each other. Also a question I had, the extension segment can be removed and you can attach the height adjustable arm directly to the wall mount. When you do this this product is just like the 36081. I wasn't sure if I need the extra segment but I do like having it.
