Q: Does this come without the metal corners, or can they be removed without ruining the shelf?

A: The shelf includes the metal corners. We do not recommend removing the metal corners because there will screw holes visible and any altering the product will void the manufacturers warranty.

Great shelf
This shelf has a very good installation mechanism, it was perfect, well made and sturdy on the wall. I have it in the kitchen with mugs that are decorative, but it is very sturdy for heavier items. Love it!
