This Amp Rips
This is a great sounding amp. Mine came with a Celestion Hot 100 speaker and this thing rips. High end has bell like tones, low end has enough growl. I swapped out the v1 tube with a Tung-Sol to make the gain a little creamier, and I added a MOD 3 spring reverb tank to get the reverb a bit more drippy. However, these upgrades were just my preference as this amp is absolutely killer right out of the box. The tolex looks nice, the dials and craftsmanship on everything are really good looking for this price point. I am a gigging musician and this amp has been an amazing lightweight and low price alternative to buying something like a Blues Jr. Our other guitarist in my band has a Blues Jr. and in my opinion this little Stage Right amp can go toe-to-toe with the Blues Jr any day. Warm, incredible tube sound, really nice gain and the stock reverb tank is really good for this price point. Do yourself a favor and get one of these. And when you're ready to get louder, get another one.

Great Amp !!
I bought one 3 years ago not know what to expect. I love the sound of tube amps, and this one is Frikin Awsome. I can control it to the edge of break up and get good tones. I have even gigged with it once, just mic the amp to a PA. 3 years later I bought another one as a back up. Great amp.

This amp has no right to sound this good.
Set it up side-by-side with a similar F-branded amp that was double the price and it wasn't even a competition. It sounded better loud, soft and medium, but the edge-of-breakup is where the SR really stood out. I would have no qualms using this recording or live in a small to medium venue. We tested in an 800-seat auditorium and it would have been fine mic'd up in a live setting. The effects loop is just the cherry on top. Definitely would recommend.

Stage Right 15w tube amp, great value
I'm completely satisfied. Finish looks good and I appreciate the tone and spring reverb. Hard to believe you can get a valve amp at this price much less this level of quality. Of course longevity is still a question because I've only had it a few weeks but no reason to believe at this point, that would be an issue.

Stage Right by Monoprice 15-Watt 1x12 Guitar Combo Tube Amp with Celestion Speaker and Spring Reverb
Bought at -40% Black Friday great price. Only problem was glue between 6V6 glass and tube base was loose, but I have spares and at Black Friday price I can't complain. Amp sounds good, & is quiet. Oddly, none of the tubes have branding or tube/valve p/n's, but some dot matrix printed info that is meaningless to me. Someone earlier asked question about access to the tubes. I personally do not find the steps required to be difficult. I expected to exactly what was necessary, no easier or harder. You really should disconnect the push-on speaker wire terminals from the speaker and remove the chassis to do it sensibly. There are 4 screws that hold the chassis in place. I didn't even consider whether the tubes can be removed without these steps. To me, the amp sounds good and is quiet. YMMV.

An amazing small tube amp but needed some work
Four stars for this great little amp because it came with a different speaker (Celestion Rocket 50) than advertised (Celestion Seventy 80). I initially wanted to send it back because despite of the nice tube crunch of the preamp I found the base sound too light and the middle heavily overblown and attributed that to the speaker. However, YouTubes about the amp with the original seventy 80 speaker didn't sound much different than mine. So I placed an equalizer in the Fx loop (an MXR ten band EQ) and it made a very dramatic change to the sound; the amp became beautifully balanced when the EQ controls are set to the shape of a hockey stick: High up (boost) in the lower frequency bands and low (weakening) in the mid and neutral (no change) in the higher ranges. Great for thick balanced cleans and fat overdrive. Small adjustments can be made depending on taste and type of guitar. I use the amp only at home at low volume and it is amazing!

Best Inexpensive tube amp
For the price it's almost impossible to get 12" all tube guitar amp with reverb new or used for this price (especially when they have them on sale). This is my second one. My first one was fine and worked flawlessly for a few years, I included it with some other gear for a trade I made and let it go. I missed the simplicity of plugging in, turning up the gain and jamming, so I got another one.

Happy
Was able to immediately dial in tones I wanted. It can sound bright, but handled by using amp or guitar tone controls. I was using skinny neck Strat on single coils. I got this for less than the used broken gear at local stores. And much much less than equivalent Fenders. But when I ran external out to a cabinet with Vintage 30, that is an absolute instant great tone for me. My neighbors all agree. With the Vintage 30, I consider this equal to all Blues Jrs I've had or played. I do prefer Vintage 30 over the Seventy/80. The 70/80 seems better suited to closed back cabinets, so I may do some swapping and carpentry. We all need a hobby.

Great value amplifier
This is my first and may well be my last tube amp. I play in my house and with my musician friends a few times a year. Love the 5W/15W switch. I also like that it includes the same tubes (EL84s) that you would find in an amp 3x more expensive. Still getting to know it but thus far it is sounding great.

from the bedroom to the gig
terrific sound.... plenty loud. at home... could easily mic it for stage.. self-contained, light to carry... I use a BOSS C2 pedal up front with speed all down and and depth all up. nobody touches this unit for this price. super fast delivery only complaint would be control face-plate(too hard to see).... I bought a replacement wooden overlay from another seller, should easily correct the only flaw...

Stage Right 15 Watt Amp
The amp is great. It came well packaged with no damage. It sounds awesome and I've been playing it for about 2 months. For the reverb footswitch you can buy an FS1 or make your own.

Great amp, and not just "for the price"
I bought the Stage Right 15 largely because it's inexpensive for a tube amp, and the many positive reviews. Not much to add beyond what has already been said, but I will mention that its built-in attenuator works better than most other amp's attenuators that I've tried (in terms of sound quality at low volume). It works so well, in fact, that I want ahead and sold my Blackstar HT5 Mk2 that I was using for practice (an amp that costs at least double).

Best value for the price, makes my janky guitar sound amazing. A friend recommended Monoprice to me and I'm so glad I jumped on it.

I recruited a new convert.
I purchased this as a gift for a friend. I own this amp, and I had raved about it to him, but he is all about the well-known, old-school brands of tube amps. I knew he'd never take a chance buying it for himself. He has gigging amps, but he didn't have an amp he could play at home. The 1-watt attenuator button is perfect for that. And the 15 tube watts makes it plenty loud for smaller gigs too. His reaction: blown away. I own several of those "old school" brand amps. But this is by far my favorite amp. And now, it just might be his too.

Great little amplifier
I love this amp. I had heard good things about it over time and had always wanted to try one. I finally decided the time was now and I bought it and I was not disappointed. I love the attenuator. The speaker is awesome. The tubes break up at just the right point in my humble opinion. Oh yeah, the price isn't so bad either. I would recommend this amplifier to anyone and I am very happy with my purchase.

stage right 15 watt amp
Nice amp, sounds and looks great I was satisfied with the exception of some odd noise it makes There is an occasional rattle when the bass notes are played It sounds like a tube or speaker rattle and a slight squeal that seems to be related to the 15 to 1 watt button, also on occasion there is a slight popping sound when it is not receiving input otherwise it seems to do what it is reported to do don't want to void warranty by checking for lose screws or anything will see how it holds up during warranty period

Fantastic Amp, Unbelievable Price
My first tube amp, and it's pretty awesome! I am still learning to control my sound, it's so different from a solid-state amp, but the RANGE of sound available is great! I wish it was TWO channels with a footswitch, but looking at the prices of other tube amps, I am VERY satisfied ( it's not like I'm on stage, so I have plenty of time to dial in the sound I want, but a clean/overdrive switch would be nice)
