Perfect for behind furniture
I got this to provide power from a duplex receptacle located immediately behind a nightstand. With all of the electronics we currently use to charge devices or provide power, this allows me to keep the nightstand a nice distance from the wall and to keep the chargers/power supplies neat.

Misleading images
Some of the images make it look like the plugs can be rotated to any angle. And while that is *technically* true, the plugs only work facing either forward or to the side. The piece that rotates is like a plastic housing around an inner set of outlets, and rotating the plastic either exposes the forward or side facing outlet.

Versatile/ Decent price
Its compact, neat and rotator inputs glide nicely yet firmly. Grips the plug you insert into the outlets great and they dont come off loose. Most likely will cover the extra wall outlet because of the size but, works great and design is very convenient.

I have 8 off these in the house and in both garages. Some have been in use for 5 years now. They are perfect and low price to add extra electric plugs with the added bonus of rotating. My newest one I put in the kitchen where I use my laptop. Now I don't have to worry about power surges there.

Misleading Product
There was no hole to secure it with a screw like the image and description state. I can't use this without that because it won't stay snugly in the outlet.

Ordered and received this product in Jan. 2021, but the one I received does not have a screw hole to attach to outlet. The protector works fine; my only complaint is the product page is misleading, including the photo. I was told that the manufacturing of this has changed to no longer include the screw hole. Was also told that Monoprice would update the product page, including pictures. Has not happened as of this writing.

Great Unit
Excellent addition to kitchen to handle phone, answering machine and Echo Show, plus 3 remaining outlets. Low profile is great so that so many devices don't look so obtrusive. Really high joule rating is a exceptional plus especially at this price point. Couldn't have made a better purchase.

does what it says it does. its a power strip. definitely want to use the screw provided to anchor it into the outlet. keep in mind because of the design, you turn a 2 tap outlet into 6, where a typical 6-tap power strip you turn a 2 tap outlet into a 7. i like it b/c its neater not having its own cord and stays in securely.

Compact and well built
It's a nice slim surge protector. I'm using behind the wall mounted tv. Plugs in and blocked both outlets, but gives you six outlets in return. Comes with a screw to give it a more reliable connection to the wall. I can't speak to durability since I've only had it a couple weeks, but initial impressions make me think this will last a good long time. Rotating parts do so smoothly without feeling fiddly. It's a fairly compact surge protector given the protection rating. If you're looking to buy something once and not have to replace in a year, I think this will fit the bill nicely.

These turn 2 outlets into 6, and also work well with "wall wart" power supplies that have the plugs right on the transformer. If you mount it using the screw, you will only get 6 outlets, because it will cover up the bottom outlet, but it's a much better rig because of the weight of thngs you plug in not hanging just on the electric prongs.

Solidly built. Fits nicely between the wall and the bed, freeing up an otherwise useless outlet. Ended up getting a couple more. Highly recommended!
