    I'm glad you asked! I ordered this 4 conductor 16 gauge jacketed wire from Monoprice to complete a home theater that was started 5 years ago with Monoprice 16 gauge 4 conductor jacketed wire (the name, source and that it was four conductors was printed on the jacket). I wasn't replacing the wire I was in fact adding to it. Well, the new Monoprice 4 conductor 16 gauge jacketed wire is really looking like 18 gauge wire! Ive been doing high level Stereo and Home theater installations since 1977. The previous 4 conductor jacketed wire is almost twice as thick raw copper when the wire is stripped back for placing into the wire receptacle on the receiver. I was shocked to discover this. I'm not trying to be difficult here.
