Easy to set up and start playing. Very sturdy.

The wooden bar that is supposed to keep the checkers in the game falls out very very easily, even by just dropping the piece in the hole while in my living room. Anyone find a way to fix this?

I saw the pictures on the website and it looked interesting so I ordered it. Once I received it I started to quickly see some of the deficiencies. The unit came with a case that would carry all the items needed to set up the game. The frame was made of a good looking wood color and the tokens were plastic. It's a pretty easy set up but in thinking practically I found some deficiencies that if corrected, might have caused me to keep the unit. The wooden legs were supposed to be put in a pouch on the outside of the bag. This means the nice wooden support brackets probably would easily get scratched while transporting the unit. The brackets also went into the pouches up side down, which meant the weight of the bracket legs were top heavy and more inclined to fall out. There is a wooden flat piece that goes at the base of the game. This is used to remove the colored tokens after you finish the game. I found this piece to move too easily and after putting a few tokens in the slots the flat wooden piece slid out causing the tokens to fall out. The inside of the case is tight and difficult to store the tokens outside of the game inside the case. You almost have to put the tokens in the unit so it will fit into the case. .Overall, if they would have made the case a little bigger, placed the storage pouches for the wooden brackets on the inside of the case, and maybe considered putting a pouch inside the case for the tokens would have been better suited.. Also, somehow securing the base flat piece of wood to keep from sliding out (especially if the game gets bumped) would help in not have the tokens fall out and ruining a game that is being played.

I liked that all the toddlers in the family enjoy playing with it. Its 5 toddlers from ages 1 to 5 yrs old and they just sit there filling in the spaces. Great height. Only thing is it does wobble pretty easily even for adults. So if you slightly push on it it WILL fall over. But weve had it for awhile and have played a couple times. Everything's been good!

Just the right size for young kids. The only issue was that the board across the bottom which keeps the disks from falling out is very loose and frequently slides out on its own. It needs a simple locking mechanism to hold it in place until it is time to refresh. But not a reason to stop from buying. Just may need a little personal touch once you start playing, especially when the competitive juices start to flow.

Fun to play, however it’s smaller than what I thought. The wood isn’t as sturdy, and the release piece is flimsy.

So fun! Adults and kids alike love playing this game. Seems like really great quality.

works fine except the bottom bar falls out if your not careful when you raise it to get the disks out, a couple 1/8 in holes and a couple short 1/8 rods bent into a u fixed that problem. even with that its still a good deal

For a large "Connect4" game, this isn't the best design, but it does work. One thing which isn't engineered all that well is the catch mechanism at the bottom of the board. The legs need to be attached in order for the catch to work, so when you store the game, you cannot store the pieces in the board, as the legs are stored on the outside of the included case. Not a huge deal, just something to note. That said, it works just like any other "Connect4" style game.

It was actually the hit of Christmas at my house. Something different, something unique. Its a game we all grew up playing but this put a twist on it. I actually bought it for the outside covered patio, but they are using it inside all over the house. Well worth the money.

I would say everything was perfect but I was missing 3 red pieces and 2 blue . Too much of a hassle to return

Me and the family love this game. I like that it is made of wood and assembly is simple. I would recommend this game to anyone.

We were very pleased when we opened and played the Four-in-a Row game. It comes in a nice nylon bag with a zipper and handles. It is easily stored in the bag as well as in a closet or behind a sofa or under the sofa, when not in use. It will be a really fun game to play for any age. I am so glad Santa gave us this game!
