Description

Featuring an elegant dupioni faux silk fabric with a raw slub texture, Evelina Faux Dupioni Silk Valances add a touch of glamour with ornately beaded tassels while providing the ultimate in light blocking technology to keep out even the harshest of light. Sun Zero Extreme Blackout Thermal Lining is laboratory tested to block out 100% of light where window is covered. Back tabs fit curtain rods up to 1.5" in diameter for easy slide-through installation. Hang with the matching Sun Zero Evelina Curtains on a double rod, or use as a standalone valance. Sold as individual valances. Coordinating curtain panels are sold separately. Measure carefully before selecting your desired size and quantity. Rod not included. Machine wash cold on gentle cycle. Use non-chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry on low heat, using a cool iron as needed.

    Tassel Trouble

    Stay far, far away from these.

    Ordered 4 panels. After reading the reviews I washed them in cold water on delecate and dried them on delecate. Opened my dryer and what a nightmare. Beads and strings everywhere. I had to use a shopvac to clean it all up. Threw them in the trash. What a disapointment.

    cheaply made

    they look pretty but it's ashame they're cheaply made. I ordered 3 for a bay window and there was lots of loose threads along with 11 tassels overall from the 3 curtains along with the crystals that had fallen off. most of the fallen tassels also came apart to bunches of string sitting in the bag. I was hosting a party and didn't have time to return them so I had to repair all the best I could. lesson learned!

    Complete Blackout

It makes it a lot easier to watch a movie without a horrible glare from the sunlight! These are long enough to reach the floor in a standard sized room, but they don't drag either. They are a super dark navy blue, so they go well with most decor.

    Love love love!

    Navy Room Darkening Shades

The beads are attached without any puckering and I like having the option to use as a rod pocket or pole for a more formal look. Just so you know the back of the valence is not the same as the front. I think this is because they are blackout curtains and this material help block out the sun. You don't notice it all being that it's up so high and it never drawn back. Really nice addition to the room.

    Great addition to my office!
