    Others tasted straight up tomato, I tasted (and smelled) straight up garlic. It was bitter tasting. Edible. But not my favorite either.

    Price increased quality went down

    Target must think the consumer doesn’t pay attention. This used to be $1.59 now it’s more expensive and it tastes worse. Very watery. Do not recommend. I went and bought at a competitor instead. It’s cheaper. Target lost another sale out of greed

    A semi sweet Marinara Sauce.

    The way I see it, the Marinara Sauce tastes like a bit of a watered down Prego. Now this Target brand sauce and Prego may not be universally liked since they are both noted to be quite sweet tasting. This is the flavor of sauce I grew up eating, so it's the way I like things. I do want to make a two things clear. One is the taste is based off the sauce AFTER it was heated. Thats either put into a small pot on the stove or baked as part of pizza. I believe reheating jar sauces changes the flavor profile. And two since the Marinara sauce is store branded, this sauce is my choice if I wanted spaghetti available for the pantry. If I wanted to have a better time I'd buy Prego. The Target brand is less chunky and I want some Chunks. Do be wary though Target offers a Traditional variant which I feel tastes like Ragu, so like tomato water. The taste doesn't become good after heating it up.
