Needs more float strap in the front

I have a 60lb elderly pitbull and I got this for him so he can do some swimming to improve his arthritis. It fits him well, but unfortunately the front floatation device isn’t enough to hold his head up. So be warned, your dog could definitely still drown in this pretty easily if they have a larger head.

Great value dog life jacket

Great value with wide waist band and chest strap for secure fit. Ideal for dogs learning to swim. Boosts confidnce and supports rear end. Plastic D-ring leash attachment broke on first use.

Great fit and flotation

This big dog life jacket fits our 100 lb pup well and can adjust for larger dogs. It floats nicely and the bright color is perfect for boating.

Sizing

The sizing is wrong on this vest. We initially purchased the size small. The tag for the small says fits dogs 15-30lbs and girth 16-20". My dog is an 18.5" girth and 16lbs, and it was too tight. We then got the medium and it was very good. Also, the clips on the size small were extremely hard to unclip, but were fine on the medium. Quality of the vest otherwise seems good. There is one lift handle on the small and two on the medium. I wouldnt lift them like that for long as I think it could hurt their ribs, but for emergencies it good to have.

Nice dog life jacket

This Is just what I am looking for. Great design but did not fit my beagle I am hoping to reorder a size medium! Not sure if it is sized too small or I misjudged the dogs size! Also have not had a chance to try this out.
