I have had this lamp in my living room for at least eight years. It is a statement piece that goes well with my soft blue walls, beige sofas and, of all things, deep red oriental style rug as an accent. Its unique shape is not found very often. I'm a gardener, so it gives me a feeling of a large agave opening. The beige shade adds to the colors in the furnishings.

Cool lamp for a mid-century modern vibe. Torn about keeping, I bought it Open Box which promises it's been inspected to be in perfect condition, however, it has a strange small but noticeable blemish in the paint on the front of the lamp. It was returned for a reason and I feel suckered to have tried to save a couple bucks and get a blemished product. Minus the blemish, I'd love it and keep it for sure!

I bought 4 of these, one came chipped and had to be replaced. One broke and I had to replace on my own. The paint on the replacement was poorly done compared to the others. So, mixed results from an otherwise beautiful lamp.

Saw an ad for Lamps Plus as I was starting to think about redecorating the living room. Fell in love with this artichoke lamp and showed the picture to the decorator helping me. We designed the whole room in blues and greens around this lovely lamp. Purchased the lamp before the furniture was selected. It was well-packaged and arrived undamaged. New furniture arrived this week and the lamp is perfect! Bright enough for reading and knitting but is not glaring. The neutral shade is exactly what I needed.
