Q: The base of the lamp looks black, but the description says it is bronze. Can you please clarify?

A: Hi - the manufacturer does call the finish bronze, but it is a very dark shade of bronze that can read as black under certain light conditions. Thank you for the question.

Great quality and style. We love the switch being on the base rather than having to struggle to find it up by the lightbulb. My only complaint is that the USB port is in the back and cannot be found easily.

High-end look at an affordable price
I really like these lamps. I use them in my bedside tables so the USB ports come in very handy. I also like that the on/off switch is on the base of the lamp so I’m not constantly reaching around the shade. I like dark bronze color of the lamps and the beige of the shades. They came with lightbulbs that are a bright, true white…but they are incandescents. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Simple, Nice
I like the simplicity and smooth lines of these lamps. The rectangular shades give them a little contemporary boost, but the warm tone shades keep them cozy. The bulbs provided are not dimmable. Overall great lamps!

Attractive Floor Lamp
This is a very attractive floor lamp. I would have given it 5 stars except that the gold tubes do not have a consistent color. It is also fairly difficult for one person to assemble. Other than that, I am very pleased.

Nice lamps
Be aware that the fabric of the shade will have naturally occuring tiny areas that you might think are flaws. Not a problem unless you want a clean slate. One of my two has a small darker thread area in the center of the shade front. I'll learn to ignore it because I really like the lamps! I got these specifically because of the on/off switch being on the base so I don't have to reach up toward the bulb.

Broke after a few months
