Perfect lamp for our need?
My husband does a lot of wood carving and has been on the lookout for the perfect lamp for sometime. Of course most of the heavy wood cutting is done in the garage or on the patio, but he needed an area inside our garden home to do much of the detail and finish work. I am such a sweet wife (LOL), I set him up a desk and work chair in our comfortable, but elegant living room. This lamp helped to complete this are as his without downgrading our living room. He and I both love his lamp. It was worth the price to achieve the look we wanted.

Nice Lamp
Overall this is a beautiful lamp. However the color of the shade is more brown than pictured on-line, where it appears to be off-white. The shade compliments the base nicely and it is a unique looking piece.
