Watch the color
Shade appears to be good quality, sturdy. Arrived promptly, packaged well. I took off one star for color. The real color is darker and more gray that what appears on my screen. I called about returning, but the options were not convenient, so I kept the shades.

Great bedroom accent llighting
Beautiful sturdy lamp. I was hoping they would provide more functional lighting but the shade color doesn't allow that. However they are good accent lighting pieces. They fit my southwestern decor perfectly. I am happy none the less.

Bought as replacement shade...
I purchased this shade as a replacement for the white one which came with the Mid Century Modern blue gourd lamp. I like the tweed-like effect of the shade, which I think lends itself better to the warmer tones of this lamp than the white shade included. I do feel that the banding around the top and bottom should have been narrower, since it is somewhat distracting. It measures one inch. Also, I think it might unravel sooner rather than later, where it is joined together. I have enclosed pictures, but this system is posting them horizontally instead of vertically.

Really brought an old lamp to life!
I had an old dark brown lamp with a stark white shade. It looked odd. When I switched out the shade to this burlap, which is more a ,soft tan with texture , it really perked up that old lamp. She’s shining bright now!
