Q: I currently have cheap tiny wall lights about 5". How do I know if can go bigger? Will electrician have to make hole in siding bigger if I go with this item?

A: Hi - it's most likely that your small lights are covering a standard-size opening that allows the lights to be wired to a junction box. You can install larger lights in place of the ones you have and the new designs will cover the opening and the wiring, so shouldn't be a problem.

Look nice, but not as good quality.
I was replacing three outdoor lights that I had bought at Lamps Plus 12 years ago. I needed a particular size to replace them. I like the looks of these, but I think the quality is less than the ones I replaced. These are not as substantial and I don't think they will last as long in the climate. But they were as close as I could come to What I had before.

Looks great once assembled
Assembly required. Once installed it looks great. If your junction box holes are not clocked correctly (horizontal) like mine then it requires modifying the mounting plate. Unlike more expensive lamps this requires more time to install.
