What I don't love is the composition of the shade. The outer material is more brown than tan, and it's shiny--giving it a cheap look. Not at all what I was expecting at this price point. I'll need to find a suitable replacement shade, and spend still more. I would have given a 5-star rating if not for the shade problem.

This is a heavy floor lamp and adds a contemporary look to my traditional decor. But, I almost returned it because I had trouble assembling it, as some other reviewers have noted. I had trouble screwing the middle section of the lamp to the bottom. A friend with more strength than I had finally did it for me. But for the hassle of the assembly, this would be a 5 star review.
