I got this to try something new, and I didn't really enjoy it. It smells very strange of bubble gum but also rosemary?? So kind of like a clown mowing the lawn...it did alright in my hair but I couldn't handle the funky smell. Meh. No thanks.

Itchy dry scalp
I have no qualms with the shampoo, but the conditioner is literally the worst. Leaves my scalp itchy after days of usage and my hair feels drier than the Sahara. For curls, this is the worst product. By all means, please find something else to use.

Red and itchy scalp
Made my daughter's scalp red and itchy. I've washed her hair a couple times after using this and her scalp is still irritated. It is the only new thing we have tried but I came to the reviews and was surprised to see the very first one also mention it causing an itchy scalp for her too.

The conditioner has good slip to help detangle. I notice when I air dry my hair it was less frizzy. Also left my hair softer and hydrated.

Great smell and moisture content!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Quench & Curl Shampoo, Conditioner, and Leave-In from rhyme & reason and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. For reference I have long, thick, and curly hair. I use a lot of heat on my hair, so I am always needing extra moisture, especially in the dry winter. The conditioner had a great smell and left my hair feeling soft once I rinsed it out. It provided a good amount of moisture to my hair, and I overall really enjoyed the product. It has a rosemary scalp serum that I am very interested to see how it works in the long term as rosemary is supposed to be great for increasing blood flow in scalp! The packaging being made of recycled materials is definitely a bonus in my book! Like I previously said, I have thick and curly hair. This product is advertised to work on both curly and coily hair, but I cannot be for sure if this product will be entirely as effective on my coily hair girlies as it was on mine. It provided a good amount of moisture for me, but I know a product needs to deliver a lot of moisture when used on coily and coarse hair to be effective. Overall, I think this is a great haircare product for my fellow curly girls!
