Baxton Studio 48" Kenji Wide Round Wood Dining Table Dark Brown: Seats Six, MDF Construction

I cannot for the life of me figure out why the tabletop scratches so easily; I also haven't figured out what type of cleanser to use in a year of using this table (everything leaves streaks!). But I'm mainly upset by the longevity of this item. It's a stable, pretty table; I just can't keep it for over another year because the surface is easily ruined.

We ended up returning this. It’s not the best quality (should’ve expected that based on the price). The table top came with bubbling in the coloring already. don’t waste your time/money

Love the table. Instructions aren’t clear. There are caps on the legs that you have to remove so you can slip the nuts and washers on. You also need a drill.

Was really excited about getting this table. Even though the reviews were shaky, I thought my experience would be différent. It was not. The first table arrived and one of the legs was broken. I had to break my back carrying it from my apartment to my van, and then into the UPS store. Instead of fully returning it fully, I decided to give it another shot and get an exchange. This was somehow worse than the first time. The screws and bolts don’t fit the legs, didn’t come with instructions second time around and I realized I would have to hire someone to put it together for me. Overall 0/10, would not recommend.

If I could give negative stars, I would. 1. They didn't send instructions or any of the building materials like screws or washers or anything. I reached out to target. They gave me 10% off totally around 18 dollars to buy my own screws and such. I downloaded the instructions from the manufacturer website. 2. The manufacturer provides one piece of data about the required items. I went to the hardware store and purchased that one thing I knew for sure and a few sizes of the hex nuts since they didn't provide any sizing for that. (None of them fit. Not even the screws which HAD a size listed.) 3. The cost of those materials, which was four hex nuts of various sizes (it requires 8) plus the screws that did not fit and NOT including washers or anything else that wasn't originally provided... cost more than the 18 dollar refund I got. 4. The base that the 4 legs of the table go into via a set of two little stubby prongs... (8 prongs it total)... has... four holes. Only two sides of that base has holes to put the legs through. The actual table top has no way to attach it to the base if I finally manage to find the hardware to put it together. 5. I reached out to the manufacturer to, at least, get the sizes of the required items to put the table together. They initially responded quickly asking where I purchased the item. I responded immediately. And have received NOTHING since. So... I absolutely do NOT want the hassle of carrying all this heavy crap to a store to return everything. But I don't see what else I can do. What an awful purchase and a terrible customer experience.

I appreciated the other reviews that prepared me for the lack of pilot holes and other assembly problems. Mine did not have a single pilot hole, and one of the crosspieces was entirely broken. The box was half-open, too. But I fixed the crosspiece, measured, and drilled in the screws. Then it was easy, and I'm not that handy. Took 20 minutes. The instruction sheet leaves much to the imagination, but thankfully I figured it out. I think the table itself is beautiful and quite sturdy. The top is thicker and stronger than other tables I own.

This table is such a great piece. It’s affordable, modern looking and the best part is it doesn’t wobble! Easy to put together too. Very happy with this purchase!!!

This is a nice table for the price. Fits exactly what we needed for the kitchen with our existing chairs. It took my husband about an hour to put it together. He had some difficulty with a few steps where they was no clear hole/spot to center the table. Also a small chip came off of one of the legs when we pulled it out of the box. It was small enough to repair on our own (not worth trying to get a new table). Overall, I would recommend!

Very thin table. Not sturdy at all. I received my package with no directions or screws.
