I'm very happy with this light fixture! It looks nice in our room. The shade has a more of a gold color to it. The picture looks like the shade is more of a linen white. I prefer the gold so it works for us.

Great choice
We had the same light fixture in our dining room for nearly 20 years, so it was definitely time for a change. Bought two fior an office/theater room... it made the room very warm and inviting. I had the electrician put a dimmer stitch in, which made for a variation of ambiance’s. I would recommend these for a more masculine styled room. Well made and easy to install. ????

Stylish high-end looking fixture
I bough two of these fixtures for my downstair and upstair hallways. My house is both traditional and transitional styling and these fixtures straddle both areas. They are very versatile. They look like very high end light fixtures, stylish, well made and well finished. I could not be happier with my purchase, they are well worth the money.

Shade is gold, not oatmeal.
I should have read the reviews more carefully and not just relied on the pictures provided. This lamp shade is not "oatmeal" as listed in the description. It is more of a tan/gold shade. If you're looking for a gold lamp shade, this s a great choice. If you want something more beige, then beware. (I can't get a good picture of the shade with the clear plastic over it, or I'd post one – but just know that the shade is gold-ish).
