Q: The battery isn't staying charged. Its only lasting 5 hours. I charged it fully when I first got it before I even used it. Trying to see why this is happening. Please help need anwers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about this Altec Lansing hydrashock waterproof Bluetooth speaker! It’s looks cool, has cool features and is so durable! I’ve used it all over the place. I take it to my sons baseball games and play walk up music for the kids. I’ve taken it to work and play music at my desk and use it for events. I’d highly recommend this speaker.

Best Speaker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is hands down the best speaker I’ve ever owned. The only thing I don’t like is that I didn’t own it sooner. This speaker is so loud, the battery lasts so long, it’s so easy to pack along and it definitely was splashed a couple times when in use and with no issues. Easy to clean up and able to withstand all spills. The sound quality was great as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very unsure what to expect when getting this speaker but it has by far exceeded expectations. It is easy to connect via bluetooth and gets fairly loud. It has a nice vibrant color schemes available and is very durable! Even waterproof by that it can be put in the water!! (i am scared to try). The battery lasts a decent amount at full volume (approx 6 hours but does play while charging). It has been used for fun and to play music at parties and it has yet to disappoint! Very happy so far.

It's super durable and the carry strap makes it easy to take with you at full volume I had Jamz playing with no distortion and the lights are bright but not so bright that they blind you also fully charged this speaker last for hours I did notice it last longer when you leave the lights off

Great sound quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A speaker with great sound quality, it is bigger and heavier than I imagined. Connecting my samsung galaxy S20 FE is very easy and makes a quick connection, in addition to being able to charge the phone with the speaker. The battery is highly durable and the equipment is made of a very hard material. I love the detail of the lights. I will definitely take it on all my vacations.

I really feel that Altec Lansing has come a long way and now rivals some of the best speaker companies out there! The hydroshock is the equivalent of the JBL eXtreme. Has a carrying strap, literally everything proof, has customizable lights (some that can pulse to music), a usb charging port, AND a qi charger for wireless charging! This speaker is well worth it and I would definitely recommend!

The colors are vibrant and bright, they change to several different choices. I enjoy the fact that this is waterproof and I can use it on my pool deck. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very impressed with the Hydrashock Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker so far. Very easy setup, took me 30 seconds to connect to it and start playing music. The sound quality is great for how affordable it is, definitely on par with some pricier popular brands. I've been surprised at how loud it can adjust to for it's size. In terms of features, this speaker is also a solar powered phone charging bank. In case the power goes out, you can use this to keep you connected to the outside world. It also has Google assistant and Alexa built-in, but I'm still trying to figure out how to connect it to the wifi. The included strap is really handy when carrying it long distances, but I've noticed that it sometimes feels in the way of accessing the control buttons, so I've been removing it when not needed.

Lots of features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love to listen to music all of the time so having a speaker that's wireless and portable is really great. When I 1st pulled it out of the box I immediately plugged it in to charge it, it took less then a hour to fully charge, I have only had to recharge once which is a major plus. I like that it doubles as a phone charger and it has lights and you can change them out and they blink along with the music. I like that it has a strap so it's easier to carry around wherever you might want to. There is a few things I've found that I consider downfalls tho, 1st the speaker seems to shut itself down after running so long, we had it going for about a hour and then it will just shut down without warning so it's a pain to have to turn back on. 2nd you cannot listen to music all the way up the sound quality goes way down when turned all of the way up it actually sounds pretty bad after being turned up so far. Overall we will use it but it will not be my go to sadly even tho with all the features it still has some pretty discouraging downfalls to it.

It can sit vertical or horizontal and the setup was a piece of cake. I love the lights and that you can change the light patterns. It really has a great bass and great volume. You can skip and control volume on the speaker or on your phone. I have not tested it with anything (like water, rain, snow) but I cannot wait until next summer to take it out on the boat! It floats!! It's heavier than I expected but that really just makes it feel more solid. The charge lasted longer than I needed it to which was so nice! Easy to use, great sound, Bluetooth, and everything proof...what's not to like??

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This speaker truly does everything you would expect from a portable speaker and more! It is larger and heavier than I thought it would be, but I didn't check dimensions prior. My husband loves this speaker. It has the ability to wirelessly charge your mobile device, set lights to go with your music, and has a carrying strap. This is a very durable speaker and I don't worry at all about the kids being rough around it. It is also supposed to be able to float in water safely. We don't personally need that feature and haven't tried it, but it does make me confident that getting caught in the rain, camping, etc. won't harm the speaker. Charges up quickly as well.

It is pretty big in size and it has a sling to be able to carry it over your shoulder. You can change the color settings on it to where it flashes different colors. It is very easy to connect it up to your phone. It has very good sound and goes up pretty loud for sound. I would definitely purchase this again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first go this speaker I was expecting a normal size one but this thing is huge! It’s perfect size for a party or outdoor get together. The Bluetooth sets up easily and very user friendly. There are different light settings even including a strobe light setting. The speaker gets nice and loud and you can hear the bass well on most songs. You can also use Siri on your phone to turn the speaker volume up and down. Again this speaker is huge and you definitely get your money’s worth. Would definitely recommend!

It has a charger on the top which is perfect when using your phone to keep it charged. It can be used upright and on it's side. The lights can be changed to go with the beat or steady.
