Our first pairs of snake boots ever and they are very impressive. Tall and comfortable to wear. When trying it on for the first time they were very firm, but break in with use. They lace up tight. The problem if there is one, is that it can be difficult to unlace after a long day.

I was skeptical these would fit as they are medium width and I have extremely narrow (AA) feet and low profile as well (less than 2" at the tallest part of my foot) I also have very skinny legs. I do still have too much room in the toe box of these, but an extra pair of thick socks will help there. But I am able to lace these tight enough to be snug on my legs and tight enough my feet don't flop around in them! They are comfortable out of the box, I feel like I can hike around in them and not have any sore spots or blisters. I am phobic of snakes and bought these simply for peace of mind when walking around my property after finding a rattlesnake last year. First one in 10 years so hopefully I won't see one for another 10 but I'm prepared in case I do!

Have yet to use them waiting for season to open. They look very nice and are very light weight. use rocky for deer hunting too so have no doubt they will suit my needs. Thanks rocky for making such good boots for the outdoors.

They fit perfectly, first day wearing them I walked 5 miles, no issues with my feet. Will see how many years they will last with no water leaks and coming apart due to glue issues.

Blowing up someone’s email for a review after they’ve made TWO dissatisfied returns is a bold move. I was going to let it go, but since I continue to receive review requests, here we go! Firstly, there is no consistency to this product. They are clearly made overseas where the fitment guide/standard is out of whack. Size 9.5 were too small and 10 were too big (same sock and same foot). The glue/stitch work is sloppy and overall craftsmanship is subpar. Do yourself a favor and buy the more expensive ones you are looking at. Not these. Buy once cry once!

After hearing great things about these boots i decided to check them out.Rocky offered me a great discount on these boots too. I have zero complaints so far, been in the mud, creeks, and ridges. They are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. They are LIGHT!

Never were waterproof. Won't use the zipper because I can already see frays around the seam. Quite comfy and light. I am hoping the snake resistant nature has been manufactured better that the waterproofing. Rocky is not kidding when they warranty only 6 months on the waterproofing. They have somehow figured out how to make waterproofing fails at exactly 6 months one day. I'd say these boots were mildly waterproof. I didnt wear them much as I don't do too much activity during snake season at snake elevations. They still losy their mild waterproofing with little use. Socks are more waterproof.

These boots r amazing,comfy and true to size,they r stiff enough for me to use them as an afo and cheaper than an afo. Anyone who has floppy foot understands what I'm saying.

Bought these for our grandson, who loves the woods. Very good quality. He calls them his lucky boots.

I live in Australia and snakes are far more likely in our summer months (except the tropical north where they are 365 days a year). I have added confidence with these boots in snake country with most snakes here having a fang length of about 3/8". The coastal taipan has the longest length fangs at about 5/8". Fortunately, I have not yet been bitten. As well a trail walking I ride bush tracks on a motorcycle and although the boots are not designed for this (I use a gear shifter pad) snakes can strike at riders. I have not had wet feet as yet but I don't go through anything other than ankle deep water. Quite honestly I couldn't care less if my feet get saturated. I bought them purely for snake protection and I am confident they will do this. I wear US size 12 and they are perfect. An excellent comfortable boot with very little breaking in needed. I find laces are easier to replace than zips so I am happy with this model.

Absolutely fantastic boots! Used in turkey and deer season, works well with climbers, and very comfortable.

I bought these boots a couple of years ago. They have really held up and give me the security to walk through areas that may have snakes. I've also walked through streams I'll know and although they are not waterproof, they have kept most of the water off of my socks. The only thing I don't like is that there is no arch support whatsoever. I may put some inserts in there. After a few miles my feet are sore.

Definitely not waterproof by any standard, really not even water resistant. Nice boot otherwise.

I love these boots!!! Very comfortable and I use them for turkey hunting and working on the farm…very good for tucking my pants legs inside the boot to help keep ticks from covering me up and going up my pants legs!!! Highly recommend these!!!

Absolutely the best turkey hunting boots out there. I considered buying these same boots that zip on the sides but was afraid of the zipper binding around my ankle. Glad I went with the lace up! My smart watch tracks my steps and it’s nothing for me to put 50-60 miles on my boots during a turkey season. I hunt multiple states and these boots have held up great! I also spray with water proofing and can step through creeks and stuff and stay dry. I wouldn’t wade in them but they’ll keep your feet dry if you’re smart about water crossings. Highly recommend and when these wear out, I’ll buy another pair!

These boots , are showing some wear After 3 years of abuse, in southern new mexico desert and mountains,, that would have destroyed most boots, very satisfied with my Pro lite Hunting boots,, and thier safety from snake bites,,, highly recommend these boots to anyone , working or adventuring in venomous country

Nice fit and comfortable; however I am giving only a 2 star rating because with two weeks the insole was peeling and by spring water was getting in the shoes from just walking through dew covered grass. Very poor workmanship.

These are the best snake boots we have ever brought. I have brought 2 pairs in my time, and my husband has brought 6 pairs in his time. We hope they never get discontinued. Only pair we love and has no side zipper. We have found that zippers fail too easily. As long as they are being made, we'll keep buying as ours wear down. We get compliments all the time.
