A: It's a pencil that needs to be sharpened. I just ordered a couple of these pencils and they seem to work with my Urban Decay Grindhouse sharpener.

We do not have a seal on the inside (where the product actually comes out), however, there is a tamper seal on the outside (connecting cap to bottle). Buy another product
I literally just got this product home and it wouldn’t advance the product so I could use more when the top was used. Waste of my money. I thought this was going to be a great product but it sucks. Used it to swatch on my hand once and couldn’t use again as there isn’t a way to advance product up the tube. No twisting or anything. Ended up breaking it first try. Not happy. I’ll stick with my other tube of eye shadow that I know works.

Makeup bag staple
These are my favorites to get in the basic colors: black, white, brown, and shimmer! They are versatile in building looks with minimal effort. They don't dry down, so you'll need to set it with a shadow. Overall, I can't get more pigment for the price!

Great texture and color but flawed.
While the pencil rolls on perfectly, and the shade is great, i can't seem to get it up past the tip. It doesn't seem to twist out in any way.

stunning colours
These pencils, despite their stunning colours, are not long-lasting and are not suitable for use on droopy eyelids. I bought it because of its long-lastingness, but I was wrong.

Sad that this doesnt work for me.
I really wanted to love this product but unfortunately unless i use it as an all over shadow it doesnt work with my slightly hooded eyes as an eyeliner, it just ends up in the crease and looking crazy.

One star only for shade
1st I need to say that I'm 66 and trying to find an eyeliner that doesn't tug. So I sharpened this jumbo crayon to use as an eyeliner, which is the way it is advertised. Yes, it doesn't tug and goes on easily. However, within an hour its smeared above my eyes and even below. This is going in the trash bin.

Nonsense design
Nice and even application. I threw one away because I didn't realize there was more inside the shaft. I just found it needs sharpening. The new one doesn't fit any of my sharpeners. I love the liner, but may not purchase it again. I had to use a box cutter on the plastic casing.

I like the product as an eye highlighter. However, the product you see sticking up is it. There is No more, no twisting to lengthen. So about 1/2 inch or so of product for not a cheap price

For best results, turn the pencil gently 3 or 4 times, being careful not to apply excess pressure. After sharpening, remove all shavings from the blade edge. Bleeds
Used on my top waterline and it bled to my lower lashes leaving me looking like a raccoon. When I’ve used it to line my lower lashes, again, it bled.

So great, but read this first!
I have a ton of things to say, mostly good. First of all, the tube is ridiculous because you cannot turn the product up. I had to google how people get the eyeliner out. First, put it in the refrigerator. Then when the make up is hard, You have to take this small cap off the end and put a qtip up inside and push it up. There is plenty of makeup inside the tube. Secondly, I love this stuff. Its very forgiving as you can kind of slop it on in a hurry and creates a smoky eye effortlessly. I do use setting powder around my eye first because it is oily and wont stay put as well if i don’t. Third, price us RIGHT! Fourth, I an not allergic to it which is incredibly rare for me. 5th, lots of classic and playful colors. Have fun!

YOU CAN ABSOLUTELY SHARPEN THIS PENCIL!
The other reviews are cracking me up. It is easy to find this slightly larger size sharpener (standard "chunky" size - usually it comes in a double sharpener from any makeup retailer) and even though it seems like it's a hard plastic pencil, it's very easy to sharpen. There is product all the way down the pencil. That said- I do love this formula! Goes on beautiful and smooth and wears all day!
