Buylateral 3 Drawer Como Modern Writing Desk Black/White: Particle Board Construction, 49.6" Width, All Purpose Drawer

I love this desk. It was a gift to myself for my 23 Birthday. It’s missing parts and now it’s a hassle to get this particular part. A rude target employee told me off after saying I would have to return the entire item if I wanted my missing piece. I emailed replacementparts@buylateral.com and talked to a target customer service representative. Their accent was hard to understand and I could tell they were getting upset that I couldn’t understand. I agreed to what ever they told me they could do. If it charges me again Il be upset. Not sure what she was saying

Horrible. So cheap. The material picks up anything and will not come off. Would not recommend to anyone.

Likes: inexpensive, was what my daughter wanted, looks stylish-ish, drawers work well, wasn't difficult to put together. Dislikes: Instructions were not fabulous, but easy enough that 2 of us were able to put it together in about 45 mins. Construction is cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Came with no instructions but very nice desk, i put instructions that were sent to me when I contacted customer service.

It was a little difficult to put together as directions aren’t clear. If you are using this daily, I recommend finding something more durable.

We needed something to hold our Wi-Fi equipment but also wanted something to serve a purpose and this desk is it! Gave it 4 vs 5 because I wouldn't use it for work but it's good for the kids to use.

love the quality and design. I've read reviews saying that the drawer tracks don't work, false. the drawer tracks are smooth and work fine the reviewer probably didn't assemble correctly. then I saw a review saying there were pre drilled holes on the top. this reviewer put the top on upside down. I got this desk on sale for $150 and idk if I would purchase at full price. that being said its a great desk and has great quality.

For almost $150, I expected a better quality. The manufacturer doesn't give you step by step instructions, only pictures/diagrams of the steps of assembly. No bueno for amateurs or first time DIY earthlings. My drawers started coming off within two weeks. The photo I attached is after two months of assembly. Yes, it comes with glue, however, the glue used isn't the best. And yes, I used a mallet and even a small hammer with industrial glue on the drawer doors to insure they would stay. It's pretty and it's actually bigger than expected which I love yet the durability of the drawer doors, is disappointing. It's functional. So if you're looking for something to get by until you find something you're in love with, this is it, if not, don't waste your time (assembly took 3.5 hours).

It's exactly what you expect for this price, mediocre. Took a retired carpenter and 8 yo most of the day to assemble.

Was a bit more difficult to assemble than any of the other pieces of furniture I have bought. We got it together and it’s sturdy and will do the job we need it to do!

Nice desk. Well built, took longer to assemble then I would have expected, but that is also due in part to the quality of the desk itself. Only gets 4 stars because there are several pre-drilled holes on the desk top itself which I cannot possibly figure out the reason for. I have looked online and do not see optional other shelves or anything that go on top.

Great desk my son loves it, did take 2-3 hours to assemble. Was confusing at time with directions and parts. All in all very happy with it.

Very nice sturdy desk!!! I would advise you get someone to it it together that don’t mind dealing with a lot of pieces! The guy that put mine was together was totally awesome! It took him about 1 1/2 hrs. I love it!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great desk - looks good, reasonably stable, good storage; fairly complicated to assemble, though (many, many pieces).

This desk is great, it gives me all the storage I need, especially that the bottom drawer is a file drawer. I put this desk together myself and had no issues.

It's a nice looking desk. Reason I gave a 3 star: It took a long time to put together. Instructions said 1 hour but it more like 2-3. Edges throughout of desk are sharp.

My mom had to come over and help me put it together. Basically, she did it all. The biggest problem was that there weren't really instructions. They are just pictures, so you kind of have no choice but to go slowly because there are a TON of pieces. I knew all about it from the prior reviews before receiving it, so I was prepared. I was a little unhappy with how long it took Target to get it shipped to me, but that isn't the desk, so whatever (it came from Pennsylvania). Now that it is put together, I am so glad I spent a ton of time researching and shopping. I got it for an excellent price through Target during their St. Patrick's Day sale. There is a ton of space on top, the one file drawer was a replacement for a two-drawer file cabinet and holds almost everything I had in it, the shelves are great for the modem and router and some other boxes I had to put on them. It's just an awesome desk with horrible assembly. I would still purchase it again.
