Target uses FedEx to ship this item and, unfortunately, FedEx damages things. I ordered two boxes and they both arrived open and missing litter. Target reshipped them and FedEx damaged both of those boxes as well. It has been two weeks and the second one still hasn't arrived but the tracking number shows an exception because it was damaged. I opted for a refund because apparently FedEx can't be trusted to handle this and Target won't use a different carrier.

Nothing super strong but the smell was there. Also so messy. My cat has managed to track it everywhere. If you change the litter box more than once a week you probably wouldn't have any problems though. #ad

My house didn't smell like the cat did anything at all in the litter box. The house even had a distinct linen scent, which came from the cat litter.
