You get what you pay for.

Agree with previous review. That shiny side looks really cheap and it smells. But the item itself is priced cheaply. And how it looks is irrelevant when it sits beneath a treadmill out of sight. Took over a week airing out in my garage for the smell to go away. Does the job.

Looks cheaply made and came with heavy smell

This mat has one side is really shiny, almost looks like cheaply made rubber mat. It also comes with super heavy rubber/chemical smell that gives my family and I headache when inhaling the smell. I left it outside for 3 days and can still smell it when I walked by. I finally said enough is enough and decided to return it.
