Nite Ize Mini Rechargable LED Safety Necklace Disc-O Adjustable Dog Collar

I can’t for the life of me understand why a Micro USB charger cable wouldn’t be included. And why in this day and age — 2026, such an old school charging system would be used for this product. It basically adds double the price because no one would have a cord like that hanging around. Particularly an Apple user. I hope that this holds a charge once I invest in buying the required cable to charge, unlike the many reviews here. It’s otherwise slim, light and practical. If you pull reallyyy hard, it’ll open for you to cut to size :)

This is so handy to keep your dog in sight with the color changing collar light. Rechargeable and cut to fit.

I was excited to get this light for my dog. It is (was) bright and attractive. Unfortunately, it fell off and was lost after two weeks. I won't buy one again and will warn others.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and haven't been able to find a single cord that can charge it without me having to hold it in place.

I loved this for my dog, but it stopped holding a charge only a month and two days after I bought it. It would light up for only a few minutes, then go dead, even when it should have been full charged. I'm trying to reach the customer service, wondering if it's a fluke and I received one with a bad battery. When it worked, it was great.

I bought these for my dogs over 5 years ago and they’re still running strong! I get complements almost every night I walk my dogs. I’m not sure why people are complaining on some of these reviews!! It’s not really that hard to find a cable and charge them lol… LITEn up (pun intended) already! Har har

I absolutely love the idea of the NiteHowl® Mini Rechargeable LED Safety Necklace - Disc-O Select™! It's amazing and incredibly bright, making it perfect for walking my little pups at night. However, I’ve encountered some issues. I’ve purchased three collars, and unfortunately, two of them have already stopped turning on or charging. The first time this happened, I contacted the company and used their Worry-Free Guarantee, which was a smooth process. But now with the second collar failing, I’m hesitant about whether to give it another chance or switch to another brand altogether. This product is fantastic when it works, but the reliability has been disappointing for me. I hope this feedback helps improve the product’s quality!

I have had 2 of these for about 2 years now. Use them a lot when letting Dogs run on dark beach at night. They have stopped holding a charge as most rechargeable batteries do. Can I replace the rechargeable battery in these?

I loved the item! However it died/would not recharge after less than a year’s use (about 10 months.

I bought 3 of these for my dogs for Christmas. It says they were rechargeable which they are Not! They are battery operated and the batteries wiggle around and will not stay in place. The screw to get that back off is extremely small so it’s not easy to access. I would NOT recommend this product. I bought mine Dec 2024

I love the visibility this collar gives our dog on her night walk, plus it's so cute in Disco mode!! However, I didn't understand about sizing, so I ordered the mini for our 19# corgi. It gets lost in her fur! I like it so much I'm reordering in the regular and will share the mini with a neighbor.

We travel a lot and camp in Baja Mx. Our dog Jessie Jane is always a Star on the beaches, especially after dark. It gives me a piece of mind where she is in the dark desert. I have purchased these for all my families dogs.

I thought this was a very cool and fun idea for my dog. However, not including a micro USB is just stupid - I just happened to have one! I see others did not, but what I’m finding most annoying is that I cannot figure out how on earth I am suppose to cut and shorten just a little. I’ve pulled, I’ve tugged, I’ve twisted, nothing. And no instructions on the packaging AND I’ve tried without luck to find any instructions under the “reviews and instructions” tab! I am pretty capable of figuring things out - without instructions, but this is ridiculous. It’s going back!

I have two if the same or these collars. While they look great when they work, I have two and one simple can't be charged, or won't turn on. Since buying I have moved countries and sadly don't have the packaging or receipt anymore, so not sure how to go about an exchange. I kinda wish I had gone with the battery version now.

Picked this up for our dog and loved it, until the batteries died. They say its rechargeable, but it isn't. When it's dead, it's dead. I tried multiple cords, multiple outlets, multiple charging blocks, nothing. Would be a great product if it actually worked.
