My cat hated it! I thought the toothpaste smelt terrible, but so does wet cat food, so I thought maybe the cat would like it. I put some on my finger to have my cat try. He sniffed it and literally gagged! After that reaction I didn’t even try to brush his teeth with it. The brush and finger brush are nice but I won’t use a toothpaste that my cat hates the smell of

When my adult cat showed no interest in licking the paste off my finger, I dabbed it onto his muzzle. He immediately started salivating copiously and ran away. Moments later I heard him howling and found him alert, but laying on a piece of furniture he never frequents. A very negative and scary reaction!

When I tried brushing, he bolted and began drooling and foaming at the mouth:( Only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because I can still use the brush and finger brush once I get a better toothpaste

Smells terrible
I wish I read the reviews first before purchasing! My kitten loves a lot of things but this was not one of them. She literally cringed over the smell. I put the tiny bit I had on my finger on her tongue and she went crazy trying to spit it out. I even shiver at the smell. It's so bad. Maybe I can make my own or buy another brand that's better. I'm still keeping the little tooth brush though!

Kitten that loves all foods hated the toothpaste
I’ve never seen my 3.5 month kitten have such a strong reaction to a smell before. He squinted in repulsion. He usually wants to try everything, and will eat any crumb he finds. I tried to have my 9 months old smell it and she ran away and has been looking at me sideways since. My 2 yo gagged and beat the tube up, and my 20yo woke up from his 23 hour nap on his heating pad and left. I won’t try on my 13 yo I’d probably lose an eye.

Dont buy, save your money
Tried to get our cat to lick the toothpaste off our finger to get her used to the taste & she hated the taste entirely. We tried a couple more times and gave her treats as well, but she hated the toothpaste. I would suggest looking online for other vet recommended toothpaste. Had high hopes for it because of the tuna flavor but it was sadly a waste of money

Cat hated toothpaste
Toothbrushes were fine, my cat likes the thinner one with white bristles. My cat HATED the toothpaste even on the toothbrush of her preference. After I saw she looked disgusted, I smelled the toothpaste and smelled so chemically and nothing tuna smelling. I don’t recommend.

Cat HATED it
My cat liked chewing on the toothbrush well enough, but as soon as she got a whiff of the toothpaste it was a big no. I had her try it, she HATED it. She foamed at the mouth when I managed to actually get it into her mouth. She hates it so much she runs just when seeing it.
