My wife bought this lamp about a month ago, it was easy to assemble and was packed very well, perfect in fact. It is very subtle but beautiful at the same time and the light from it is quite soft but bright enough to read by.. If I could make a suggestion instead of the simple on/off switch ,it would be nice to have a sliding dimmer switch, inline, so the light output could be varied for the time of day and the occasion, and the dimmer could be almost the same size as the current on/off switch..it might be an improvement to consider-John Weir..purchaser was Debra Weir..chappyweir@gmail.com

I bought this mushroom lamp because it reminded me of a very expensive Schoolhouse lamp for about half the price. I painted it because I wasn’t able to get it in a color that I wanted. It has been a staple lamp in our living room ever since and I love the way it turned out!
