Buy Target Merch, not third party vendors

The spoon arrived in a plastic unpadded mailer bag. There were water spots and "tarnish" spots on the spoon. There was a dark substance inside some of the holes. Then I found out that I had to print a mailing label and take the spoon to a shipper to return it. Although I purchased this from Target.com it is apparently from a third party vendors and Target will not accept the return. They made the sale and have now stepped away. I never did get my printer fixed so I have a spotty spoon I am afraid to use. The spoon is not Target merchandise so they will not accept the return at Target. I would like to give this experience zero stars.
