I like these for the nostalgia effect, but the "string" is a bit stiff compared to the weight of the plastic beading, and they don't hange quite straight. The nice thing is that the bells are light enough that they don't pull down too hard bringing things to points.That's my main complaint. Also, thye seem to break easily - but not when you drop them etc. - but if you accidentally step on one they shatter immediately. So wear shoes when you put them up. There were pieces of broken bell in one of my packages even though the string was complete, so I think it might be common and not just a "stepping on it" problem.
