Speck iPhone 13 Presidio Perfect Clear Case with MagSafe - Ombre Fade: Polycarbonate Build, MagSafe Compatible

I'm really enjoying the attractive and incredibly sturdy and high quality phone case. The ombre fade from almost opaque white to completely transparent looks great on my phone and really appeals to my minimalist style. A real keeper!

Speck cases are the best!! They are so cute and I love the bevelled edge. It really protects the screen.

After using it for 3 weeks: Function: 5 stars Style: 2 stars My previous phone case was black rubber/plastic so I'm still getting used to the cons of a clear plastic one. The Ombr look is nice but I kind of wish I got the clear one instead bc it sort of looks like the bottom of the case is just "worn out from handling" as opposed to a purposeful discoloring. The case also seems susceptible to scratches and dings more than I'd like. I dropped my phone (short drop on wood floor) a few days after I put it on and my phone was perfectly fine but I got a giant scratch at the bottom of the case. If you're wondering how it feels: It's like a matte rubber surface as opposed to a shiny hard plastic so you actually get a nice comfortable grip. And the holes and buttons all aligned perfectly (and the hole for the charging port is large enough for larger sized plugs). It's also not heavy if you're looking for something lightweight. Maybe I'm just being picky, but I'm glad I bought this on sale. It has good protection value but maybe not worth full price because I can see that I'll probably have to change it in the future from getting banged up too much.

Let me start by saying that my last 2-3 phone cases were all speck, and that I trust and recommend to my peers that speck is a fantastic brand in terms of protection and slim design. This review is after a month in with owning the case, and I have a few things that I'd like to discuss about this product. First let's talk about the appearance of the case. On this website, the pictures of this case depict a perfectly clear top portion of the phone which transcends to a hazy white in the middle and then a solid white on the bottom. When the case arrived, I was disappointed to find out that the case does not look at all how the pictures advertises it. The "perfect-clear" is not clear to my standards. It's honestly quite fuzzy, kind of like if you got moisture into the face of your wrist watch. On top of that, in certain lighting, there is this strange rainbow effect that happens. Even the white on the phone doesn't look as it's depicted. The pictures show it as a pure white, but in person it is more of a gray. I think my black phone may alter the color, but after seeing that the case is modelled in a black phone there really should be no excuse why the case can't look like how it is pictured. Keep that in mind if you're considering this case. Next is the quality of the materials used. With just under a month of owning the case, there are already too many visible scratches to count on both hands. This is my first "Clear" case I've owned so I may not be the most suited judge in terms of case damage, but my other speck cases (Presidio) did not have as many noticeable scratches. So after one month of ownership, I'm disappointed in how scratched up it's already gotten to. What I do like about the case is how compatible it really is with the MagSafe chargers. the charger snaps right on and there's no way it's coming off without your approval. All in all, for the price of this case I recommend going Presidio over this one. I'm not too happy with this case but it works.

I have had speck products for the past several years. The Mag Safe feature works great with my mag safe wallet and car mount. The color looks great with the blue iPhone color. It is hard to take off, which is not necessarily a bad thing. My last phone case from speck began falling apart after 2-3 years, interested to see how this one holds up.

I always use speck for the best protection for my phone. This one just happens to be ombr in my favorite color.
