  • A: By design the Sport Knit Pants offer a generous fit. Garment elastic waist for the 2X (20W - 22W) relaxed is 38" and 54" extended. Hip 53 1/2" and inseam is 29 1/2". For the 3X elastic waist r the 3X (24W - 26W) is 42" relaxed and 58" extended. Hip is 57 1/2. Inseam is 29 1/2".

    Not the same

    Poor design all round

    I want to like this pair of pants as I intended to wear it for comfort. However, there is something very wrong with the cutting - simply too much material everywhere - including a bulging hip and thigh area. Either there was a quality control problem or a design problem, which must be addressed. Please compare this with the starfish straight leg pants which is super sleek and comfy. Very unhappy with the purchase but I was told it was a final sale. It will go to my donation box.

    Very Disappointing

    Sadly, these pants did not perform well for me. I was disappointed because in years past, I have had several pairs and loved them. This time, the pants lost their shape and started bagging the first day I wore them. Then the waist band, which was too thick and bulky to start with, began to lose its elasticity. Because I was traveling in the North Atlantic, I had no choice but to continue wearing them but on return home, they were laundered, though I will never wear them again.

    The usual Lands' End high quality!

    Perfect fit and exactly what I wanted. LOVE Lands' End clothing! These replaced a pair that since I lost 20 pounds, were too large & I NEEDED THEM! Wear them a lot in the colder months!

    Disappointing purchase

    Extremely disappointed with this product. The fabric is flimsy and cheap, fit is baggy and even at the sale price not worth the money. Purchased Sport knit pants several years ago and they are still like new and the fit is perfect.. Fabric superior. What happened to QC?

    Liked them not as high rise

    I really like sport knit pants, but why do they have to be high rise. I hate when the waistband comes up halfway to my bra. They didn’t used to be high rise and fit a petite perfectly.

    Runs large

    I first bought my normal size of 2x. Huge. Reordered XL- too long. Ordered XL Petite- perfect. So order 2 sizes smaller than their other pants. Love the pants!!!

    LOVE the Deep Pockets!

    LOVE the slant front/side pockets (main reason I ordered to carry phone/keys) and wide Elastic Waist and material is just right for Summer at the Mid Atlantic Beaches- I took a chance and ordered Petite mainly because I'm just under 5'3" and often regular pants are too long... I had also ordered the same in Capri Length and they were great too!!
