Great mix of Sensory Items
This kit has a variety of toys. Sadly we were missing the Globe stress ball but after a message to Learning Resources a replacement is being sent. The pop cubes give a satisfying pop when pulled apart and are great for using as an aid in math as well as a fidget toy. We got the glitter tube, the bubble wrap it came in was a great sensory thing in itself we are all fans of popping bubble wrap, the tube is one of my 6 year olds favourite things in the kit, she played with it for a long time just watching the 2 different colours of glitter moving. Rainbow spring is always a hit with my kids. Marbleized popper wasn't that easy for my 6 year olds to use at first but with a little use they loosened up enough for them to do on their own but they loved it all the same, it brought back memories from my own childhood. Playfoam is well loved in my house its squishy and satisfying to play with aswell as mouldable. The glow stick also always a hit with my kids they had a great texture not smooth like the ones we usually get, ours lasted almost 3 full days with the brightness dulling as the days went on but stayed brighter than usual but I would prefer a reusable light rather than single use. Link n learn links were the most loved item in the kit with my kids continually going back to them and spending a long time quietly concentrating on what they were doing we enjoyed making patterns for each other to copy and making necklaces and bracelets they are great as a math aid aswell as being great for fine motor skills very easy for the kids to link and take apart. Great colours, different textures, good variety of toys comes in a resealable plastic bag I personally would prefer a box of some kind. All in all a great product that my kids very much enjoyed.

Lots of lovely sensory items!
There are some really lovely resources in this pack. They are nice and brightly coloured with lots of different textures as well. The squishy earth ball is my son's favourite. There are also some brightly coloured pop cubes which he enjoys putting together in different ways, a glittery tube, rubbery poppers which are very satisfying to fold inside out and can 'jump' well on flat surfaces; a rainbow spring; some glow sticks; play foam which feels lovely to squish and some colourful links. I'll be taking these into my year 3 classroom as well as I think some of the students would benefit from using them if they need a break or to help calm down. Included in the pack is a sheet of card with pictures of the toys on one side and then some tips on the back for using them to help with social emotional learning. A great resource!

Fantastic fidget kit for all ages!
I got this fidget kit for my 4 and 6 year olds, and it works really well for them both!. We get this kit out when we need a little calm down moment, and they can each choose something to quietly play with. Along with acting as calming sensory toys, they have also been quite educational and have brought on many discussions and learning. My 6 year old has learned that not only is the rainbow spring fun, but if he wiggles it, and sends the wiggle along, that's a transverse wave. It he holds it, and pushes one end, you can see a longitudinal wave travel down. The cubes are fantastic for building fun things, but can also be used for helping them both with maths and counting, and the Stress ball earth has sparked many conversations about different countries. Both boys are a big fan of Playfoam, so having some more of this is a big bonus for us. It never dries out, and can be played with over and over again. Great for making letter and number shapes to aid learning too! A fantastic kit, that is perfect for calming down, AND educational purposes.

Good for keeping little minds occupied!
My daughter who is almost 5 has really enjoyed playing with this when she gets home from school. It's really good for when she just wants something to mess around with after having been learning all day, to relax whilst also being on the move as kids like to be! She enjoys making necklaces out of the links, which helps with her fine motor skills. She has enjoyed the slinky- a vintage gem! Rolling this down the stairs. Her little sister has joined in with the springy cups- pushing them down and then laughing when they pop back up. This kit has lots of different things to entertain whilst also being simple and not too overwhelming. Only downside is it comes in a big plastic bag- might have been a bit better in a cardboard box or something a bit easier to store and also more economically friendly.

Lots to do!
When I saw this set I knew my five year old would love it. During our home school journey he has found it difficult to sit and concentrate. These sensory toys have helped relive some of his work anxiety and allow him to break up his lessons with a bit of creative relaxation . He particularly enjoys playing with the links and will make necklaces to ropes to pull along his cars! There is a wide choice of objects in the pack so each activity stays fresh and gives the mind a break and a work out at the same time!
